Castillo Electric ran an electrical line inside my wall and installed an exterior light on my garage. Jose was great. He showed up on time for my consultation, took time to understand what I wanted accomplished, gave me several options on getting what I wanted done then returned for the installation with an associate then performed the work expertly and efficiently. They patched my wall and painted afterward. You would have to know where to look to find where they repaired the wall. My light looks and works beautifully. I consider what I received to be an excellent value for the money. If I could give Castillo Electric more than 5 stars I would. I very highly recommend them.

Jose got my project done. I made the mistake of hiring regular contractors to do electrical work. It all seemed fine until i needed the main panel upgraded to 200 amps. One contractor could not finish the work, another didnt know what panel to get to be PG&E compliant. Then i hired electricians. One wouldnt called PG&E. One way over charged. Then it got done, with Jose. He worked w me, worked w PG&E, worked with the county. Seamless. By-the-book, which i appreciated. He told me what to do next and made the process smooth. He was patient w me. He looked over the work that was done and suggested improvements to make it safer and better. Learning lesson to hire a licensed electrician to do the electrical on a construction project. Would work with him again in a heartbeat. I wish the whole construction project had worked the way it worked w Jose.

Not a shocking story, rather a story of excellence giving us confidence in our electrical system removing problems that could have happened and greatly protecting us in the future. Jose was easy to work with. Came out literally 30 minutes after I called him and fixed my problem. He also explained to me what was tripping my breaker so it wouldn't happen again. If you need any electrical work, call Jose.

Jose and his team came to upgrade my main panel from 100 to 200 amps, upgraded our sub panel, and installed extra outlets throughout my house. The work was all very well done and he has very reasonable pricing. Jose is very responsive, very communicative throughout the work, and does a great job of explaining how and why they are doing things. His team is also very knowledgeable and polite and they are great about not making a mess. They tape plastic around areas that may get messy and clean up well when they are done. And they wear shoe covers whenever they come in the house, which is a nice touch!

I will be recommending him to anyone I know who needs electrical work done, and he is my go-to for all future projects. It's great having someone that I trust and I don't have to call 5 other electricians for estimates anymore.

We've had the pleasure to work with Jose of Castillo Electric on 2 jobs. Earlier in the year, we interviewed 5 different electricians for a complex recessed lighting project for our home. After talking with Jose, we found him to be the most honest, upfront and understanding of our needs. Jose and his team did an amazing job and they were transparent through the entire process. Jose walked us through the whole process, kept hole cutting to a minimum and gave us many different options for our light switches. Did I mention he patched up the holes, textured the walls and painted? Jose and team went above and beyond!

Recently we had Jose and his team over for a smaller job. They fixed 2 exterior electrical outlets that stopped working. The previous owner did a lot of DIY and it was determined that the wiring was incorrect. Jose and his team were able to fix the wiring and upgrade the electrical boxes. They also replaced 2 exterior lights and a bedroom ceiling fan.

What more can we say about Castillo Electric? He is our go to electrician!
