Jose and his partner took care of some lights and a vent in my house which had suddenly stopped working. They quickly identified that the problem was faulty wiring and repaired it in no time. They were also respectful of the property, courteous in their communication, and helped me out with a bunch of other minor issues too. Unfortunately, my electrical panel decided to fail in the middle of a Saturday night. I mean, who do I call besides PG&E? Turned to Yelp to find a local electrician to temporarily restore power. Because he was stacked with projects, he couldn't work on a permanent fix for me.

Next day, on a Sunday, I started searching for an electrician. I didn't expect anyone to respond, but J.R. Electrical texted back and troubleshoot the problem via text and photos. As of this writing, out of 6 contacted, only 2 responded.

Felt bad for telling them I'll use another electrician, but they were totally cool with it and was even glad I found a solution. Although I went with a referral from a family member, I appreciate J.R. Electrical for their responsiveness and willingness to help troubleshoot. Their friendly and honest communication was what put me at ease. Now I have their contact information on my phone to call first for future issues.

Note to self: line up (get references) professionals that can help fix household issues, especially when it happens in the middle of the night.

This team is fantastic. They helped put up over 40 recessed lights + multiple ceiling fans throughout our house and the final result was fantastic. They even came back to put in a new transformer and run new low voltage wire for our Nest Doorbell after another contractor had stucco'd all of the prior wiring/hole. Not only was Jose and team super efficient with their work, they also provided some design guidance to make sure we were going to be pleased with the work aesthetically as well. While I had originally wanted to lay out the recessed lights equidistant in all directions, he suggested offsetting so that they were further out along the walls, and boy are we glad to have taken his advice. I should also add that they did all their work with the utmost cleanliness, putting down tarp and drop cloth, and making sure to clean up after the job. Super pleased and will definitely be reaching out to them again.

JR returned my call when it's nearly impossible to get an electrician due to all of the remodeling. He came the same week and he and his partner found a way to hang my pendant lamp and sealed the base. It looks beautiful- the way it should. He was very reasonable with the price for his work. Great can do attitude as well. Highly recommend.
