I paid for the AC diagnostic guy's services and was told that I also had a plumbing issue. The rep said that their plumber would come out to diagnosis that issue the next day at no charge. The next day plumbing came out to give a quote and charged my son (who was the one home at the time) a diagnostic fee. THAT WAS NOT THE AGREEMENT. When I called them hours later, Jamie was rude and short with me on the phone. She said she could have someone from their financial department to call me back. I am still waiting. I text their chat service for assistance. They said they would have a supervisor call me back. I am still waiting. Meanwhile, I discovered they left my AC unit box opened and wires exposed after they examined it. They are untrustworthy and unprofessional in my opinion. I will dispute the charges.

Don't use them. They tried to pressure me into buying a new air unit them left and emailed me outrageous repair options.

Professional and HONEST technician and Company. Highly recommend this company. One of my heater units went out. Called and they came out the same morning.

Going forward Casteel is the only company I will use. Every technician, installer and sales person that I had an encounter with knew what they were doing. They provide pictures to prove it. Everyone was so knowledgeable. Three other companies could not compete with their equipment, warranty or pricing. They repaired everything that was wrong with my HVAC and ductwork. My home is finally warm and I am longer wasting money on electric bills. Last but not least, they have top-notch customer service. Every Casteel employee that came that came into my home were very easy to work with. After meeting with other company reps, I found out Casteel employees are honest. Phillip, Thomas and Dion thank you! Please tell all the other guys that were under my muddy house that I appreciate all your team did for me.

They give you a hard sell and lie to you. They did a good job in repairing the AC unit but they will charge you up the wazoo!

Well we bit the bullet and got a new furnace and air conditioning. OMG is this expensive. But our system was over 35 years old. We called and within one day they were at our home. JW was our salesperson. Wow he was good. Explained everything with lots of details. Answered all our questions. We didn't have many because he was so thorough. Within 2 days the 2 man team was here to install. They were also helpful and nice. Even with my husband asking questions. All in all, I highly recommend this company. Great followup to make sure everything went great. It did.

i just called to get a quote on repairing duct on my hvac and was told "" unfortunately, we do deal with duct work."" what?! an hvac company that doesn't do duct work?! i guess they only want to do the expensive stuff.

I'll start off by saying that everyone on the phone is super nice. It almost warranted a second star, but sucks-to-suck I guess. Since August, I've had them here too many times because of incompetence and lack of knowledge about how to repair systems.
The story starts with an A/C system that stopped working in August 2020. A $300 repair lasted less than 24 hours and the system stopped working again. The next day a tech indicated the system was too old to fix again (leaked freon, which it didn't do until Casteel touched the system...anyway), and now I needed an new $6K A/C unit. Fine. A few days later (a Friday) and a dent in the wallet, the A/C was installed.
Less than 24 hours after they leave, no cold air. A different technician comes out on a Sunday, and indicated the entire system was faulty and would need to be re-replaced...ugh. But Monday when the original installers came to re-replace the unit, they discovered it was simply a factory fitting that wasn't tight and leaked out the freon...they tightened, re-filled, and everything worked...finally...after 3 day with no A/C from a new system in Georgia! Yeah Casteel!
Now comes Thanksgiving and the cold weather, and my heat isn't working (short cycling, not getting warm in the house). The next day, the Casteel tech said that during the A/C installation, the heating jets were knocked out of alignment and were no longer hitting the flame sensor. Easy fix there, but it also melted a pipe that needed repairs. My house could of burned down!!
He made a temporary repair which allowed the heat to work, and a little over a week later the replacement parts were installed. Less than 12 hours later, no heat again. Another technician came and this time I'm told the problem is the flue needed ""re-adjusting"". But that tech isn't ""trained"" in repairing the metal, so ANOTHER tech needs to come out and do that. So I'm sitting 3 days now in freezing weather...house is holding at 55F using the stove and oven, but fish dying, I have health problems etc...totally sucks when you think the people you rely on to help you are as clueless as you...if not more!
Short of it is, unless you have tons of time and patience to deal with techs that are very narrow in scope and lack broad skills (or any it seems at times), go ahead and call Casteel. You'll get to meet the entire team over the course of your repair!
Update: I added a star. Honestly the people on the phone are very sympathetic and polite; not that it helps getting my equipment repaired, but they are nice and friendly people. Secondly, the original technician did come back last night and worked late making sure it was fixed once and for all.

Had CASTEEL install a new breaker panel last year. The tech spent about 4 hours instaling the new panel and also correctly labeling each breaker as I had errant circuits all thru the house. If I turned off the lights in some rooms, the outlets would remain live. Osman (the tech) tested every outlet in the house and even alerted me that some had been wired incorrectly by the previous owner. He mentioned that my panel was not grounded, which could've been the cause of dimming lights when heavy wattage was applied. When I called them back to ground the system, his outside inspection found that the neutral wire running from the pole to the house was badly frayed and that I should get my EMC out immediately. Osman & Chris grounded my panel, EMC confimed that I was in potential danger because of the neutral wiring problem and fixed it immediately. No more dimming lights! I've never felt safer in my home , thanks to the professionals at CASTEEL!

Technicians came out and worked on the unit. It seemed to have been fixed until today (4 days later). The a/c is set on inside temperature of 73 degrees and the actual temperature is 82 degrees and climbing. Hubby called to get an appointment. Unfortunately, first available appointment is not until Sunday which is 4 days from now. We continue to experience several days of over 90 degree temps. This is beyond horrible! We have never experienced anything like this. I was prepared to upgrade my rating. Good thing I waited.......
