We called Casteel and schedule a tune up service after receiving an advertisement in the mail. We saw the price and wanted the service upon moving into our new home. The service was supposed to only be a tune up service/changing out air filters etc. Upon entry, I explained that we just bought the house and wanted to get a tune up on the air condition units and have filters replaced. The employee clearly saw that as an opportunity to attempt to sale us a new air conditioner. He spent maybe 10 minutes changing filters and taking pictures of our units, then proceeded to spend an entire hour trying to sell us a new air condition unit. We already canceled the appointment he forced onto us for an estimate. We called our home owners insurance and had them send someone out to look at the issues he addressed, and the Technician our home owners insurance sent out showed us the coils that werent cleaned out during our tune up from casteel and we also had freon leaking right that was not leaking prior to our casteel service. If i had the camera on the backside of my house two weeks ago that i have now, i would share footage. Clearly, they werent interested in providing the tune up they were paid to provide but instead created issues / created opportunities to assist in the sales pitch we received for an hour. Dont believe the 5 star reviews. We did and regretted it and wasted money.

I came home from out of town to find my heat would not kick in when the weather got cold. After a little research I contacted Google Nest and they gave me a list of certified Google Nest technicians in my area.
I contacted Casteel around 10pm on a Friday. They offered service that night, but I requested a next day 10-2 window. The technician contacted me around 10:30 am and, with my prompting, he walked me through the price range.
Deon arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. Deon took pictures underneath the house and described some potential issues with my furnace.
Once the job was done, he replaced my filter. No surprise charges and the work was as described over the phone. I would recommend their services and use them again for HVAC work.

Alexia was my sale rep. She was very patient with me. She was very good at following up. She explained everything thoroughly. She answered every question I asked. So far I am happy with the unit I purchased.

A local company fixed my pilot light issue when Casteel wanted to just replace the entire system for $8500.
Not trusted. Don't do it. Up sell city.

Kevin was great, super nice, and very informative! He provided helpful tips and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend him. This is our second time using Casteel to replace our water heater as we sold the condo that we previously used them for. Their customer service is top notch! No complaints!

got home late night around 1:30 and found out our water heater is leaking, called and got a technician come by 3
everything was fixes by 6:30
the customer service and the technician are both very polite and knowledgeable

We checked out a large number of suppliers before settling on Casteel and Lennox. The Casteel salesperson was the most knowledgeable, explained things in the most detail, brought up issue no one else had thought to bring up, and in general inspired the most confidence in us that he was really analyzing what we really needed rather than just trying to sell what he had. Install was efficient and perfect; they left the place clean; and they have always been responsive since. Highly recommended

When knights heating and air was its own company the customer service was wonderful. Since being taken over by Casteel proper and polite customer service is no longer a thing. Called with concerns today that we had not received our redi maintenance plan in the mail that we have had with knights for 6 years. We were informed that ""knights was no more"" and that our plan had expired. Why was it not sent out was our next question, no answer. Then told a plan we have paid $150 for every year has now been up'd to $180 with no warning or noticed. Again was told ""knights is no more"" this is our price. Even discussed calling else where and getting other prices, conversation ended with a ""good luck"" so rude and unprofessional. Knights was better off before the merge.
