Please do not use this company. I was provided with a 4 hour window. After several calls and being reassured that the technician was coming. To finally getting a call at 830pm after calling again and being placed on hold for several minutes, The dispatcher called to advised that they needed to reschedule. Really i waited the entire day. Never agsin

horrible, horrible, I called 6 weeks ago to schedule for someone to come out to maintain my ac, the day before the appointment, i received 2 text messages confirming the appointment, then i received a call telling me they have to reschedule for people who might have issues with their ac because of the heat (it's Georgia, do you not know that it will be hot in Georgia in June, why did you even schedule the appointment with us), I will never ever use you guys, thats so not professional

This company practices up charges and they use their maintenance plan to drive service call charges. I was charge service call charges 2 times and in one week for the same issue in total I was charged 700 dollars for a capacitor and anti bacteria spay to my coils all while operating under a maintenance plan for 3 units. No follow up call but was told this was the inexpensive route that could not be guaranteed but could offer a UV LAMP for an additional $1700. The anti bacteria spray was to clean the coils from an odor after replacing the capacitor. $300 dollars for the capacitor and $400 to spray the $15 can of anti bacteria spray on the coils from the scent that was immitted after the replacement of the capacitor. All this while under a maintenance contract which should have cleaned coils and detected capacitor condition. Do the math.

Had in-home estimate of a new HVAC system. Representative didn't explain to me why he recommended certain equipment. He recommended the wrong tonnage A/C for the square footage of my home. I also felt he pressured me to make a decision right away even though I explained to him that I intended to get several estimates before making a decision.

As usual, Casteel again provided great service! Their technician was on time; was very knowledgable, and performed a thorough semi-annual checkup of our 3 AC systems.

I purchased a new A/C and Furnace from Casteel a year ago and have been very pleased with the system, but that is not the reason for my review. I called to schedule the annual maintenance and had the pleasure of speaking with Surpree and she was absolutely wonderful. Very knowledgeable about Casteel's products and services, kind and extremely helpful and overall a very valuable employee. I wish more companies had people like her working for them; Casteel is very lucky.

Casteel's warranty department took excellent care of us! The furnace for our downstairs area is zoned. When the temperature recently dropped to 11 degrees, neither of the two zones could get warm enough. When we went to bed, we had to turn off the thermostat in the living room.
Doug Evans and Tristan skillfully determined that the furnace was fine, but our downstairs did not have enough air returning to the furnace (static pressure was low.) They installed an additional return in the stairwell and the problem was resolved!
All this was done at no charge to us.

I called for an estimate on replacing my outdoor unit. (The indoor unit in my townhome is only 2 years old and functioning perfectly. But my outdoor unit is failing.) I explained this clearly and several times. But the phone rep insisted they would only consider replacing BOTH, because they ""don't want them to be mismatched."" I pointed out that every inside unit has specifications, and a tech needs only to match the specifications in order to match an outside unit with an inside unit. But the rep insisted they would consider only replacing both units. Personally, to me, that seems to me like a huge unnecessary expense for the homeowner. I don't trust Casteel anymore. I feel bad for homeowners who would be persuaded to do that.

Called and made an appointment 2 days prior. On the day and at the time they were to show up, look at the furnace and a/c unit and give a quote, they called to tell me that they don't work on modular homes. I had to take a day off work to be here for them, and they wait until the exact time for them to be here to cancel. I would not recommend them to anyone. This company is very unprofessional

There's a reason for their overall 2.5 star review! Had this company come out to give me an estimate for a Generac Generator install (about $14K), which was about $4K higher than the company I went with. These guys charged me $79 for a ""Trip Charge"". I received four other estimates and these guys are the ONLY ones to charge.
DO NOT USE THIS RIP-OFF COMPANY!
