Alex and his crew are the best! Not only are they approachable and professional, they did high quality work, within the timeline provided and kept the work space/our home clean! Any time I had a question, Alex was so knowledge in answering it. He went above and beyond and added a light into the new closet we had built even though it wasn't part of the original plan. And the best part of all is their price is very reasonable given the quality of work you receive. Alex and his crew remodeled our 75 year old bathroom, which required taking it down to the studs. He also built a closet where our shower had been, and converted our bathtub into a walk in shower. The results were fabulous. He and his crew also remodeled our kitchen, which was original to the house, again with excellent results. Alex and crew were personable, reliable, and respectful of our privacy. He went the extra step to answer any questions that we had, and was always friendly and approachable. I recently purchased a fixer upper in San Jose and was looking for a recommended contractor that would convert my vision of a modern home into reality.. Alex and his crew built exactly what I wanted!! We started with the interior of the home gutting everything out down to the studs. Alex and I would meet on a regular basis to go over developments and what material would be coming up next giving me enough time to order and avoid any long lead times. Alex gave my wife and I great suggestions on material quality what was worth paying top dollar and what was not without affecting the homes aesthetics. I have been working with Alex for a little bit over a year now and so far we completed the interior, exterior and backyard.

Alex came to my house to look at a project.
I told him I don't like to chase down contractors to give them work because that is what I have been doing with other contractors.
He assured me that is not how he operates and he would have the quote ready in a few days. I told him no pressure but I would appreciate any follow up and he said he always follows up.
Sure enough I had to call him a few weeks after he promised me a quote.
Claimed he was hurt on the job but the quote was ready.
2 week later no quote.
If a contractor is so busy that they cant do work they just need to be up front so the customer isn't hanging out waiting.

Miguel and his team of experts did a fantastic job on my home. Great dependable team that made the house a home. They remodeled the whole kitchen from cabinets, counters, Recess lighting and paint. They also insulated all 3 bedrooms, trim and paint. The last thing was whole new flooring through the house. We hired Castaneda Construction after a big water damage in my home. Miguel was very knowledgeable about all things related to construction. He and his crew took care of all of the repairs , from the electrical wiring, drywall , layout bamboo floors on the entire second floor, painting and hanging the electrical fixtures atop a very small and restricted staircase. My Wife and I are very Happy with the Quality of Workmanship provided by this Family Business. We met them through a referral and have since completed 3 projects with them. We enclosed some deck space, we did a complete Master Bedroom update. Most recently we completed a full Kitchen Remodel. Our new Kitchen is shown in one of the Photos.

Miguel and Alex take the time to listen and plan so that the finished project comes out to be what we were expecting. They made regular and steady progress until project completion. We worked together with them sourcing some materials and my Wife and I sourcing some items. Alex likes to sing while He is working, that is an added Bonus for Hiring this Team. ( LOL !!)
