Mark and his crew have been absolutely amazing to work with. We lost everything in the park fire and desperately needed help restoring our electricity. Not only were they fast and efficient but friendly too. Highly recommend Cascade electric A+++

Hired This company over a year ago to install a new meter main box on the pole so I could expand power out to the new Garage I just built. Well, here we are a year later and nothing. They apparently pulled a permit and left it at that. Permit has long since expired and they cant even seem to respond to emails or phone messages. Worst communication skills I have ever seen. Would not recommend them for any job. The few responses I have gotten from them are useless and one said they thought they had completed the job. So not only did they accept the job, pulled a permit and wasted a year of my time, They just plain forgot and left me hanging.

Spoke to Kyle Burch the electrician about providing an estimate for various electrical repairs. I made the job very easy on him, provided inspection reports and flexibility on accessing the property. A week after our initial contact, he calls me and lets me know he will be coming to the property to provide the inspection. I contact him the following day and he disappears. No word no response. Im not even sure if he actually went to the property at all. Wasted everyones time.

CASCADE ELECTRICAL: Business owner Marc very kindly responded to our weekend request for the needed repair of our puzzling electrical outage. He has a knowledgeable and confident way of analyzing electrical issues while working through to a successful diagnosis and successful repair.
He shows great respect for customers and is quite personable during his visit. We were both very happy that he answered the call and would definitely ask him back when the need arises. He is most assuredly a craftsman in his field.
If you encounter the need for a skilled electrician you would be well advised to call on Mark or one of his several employees to analyze and repair or install electrical needs at your address.

Art showed up on time. We had him install a Gyro ceiling fan. He was friendly, was quick and very reasonably priced. It only took him an hour. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again.

I contacted Cascade Electric to give me a bid for connecting service to a new barn I'm building. I did not select them to do the work but was so impressed with their approach to business and customer service I had to right this review.
I was contacted by Doug and we talked about the project. He said he would send out one of his estimators to the job site to take measurements and talk to me about specifics. His estimator showed up the next day at the agreed upon time, sorry I can't remember his name, maybe Randy, I'm getting older and suffer from C.R.S. (Can't Remember S***), anyway his estimator spent about 30 minutes with me at the job site taking measurements and going over specifics, he was very professional and very thorough.
Within 24 hours Doug sent me his bid with and explanation of price. The one thing I forgot to mention to Doug and his estimator was I needed to know when they could start if I selected their bid. When I spoke to Doug he said they were about two weeks out on jobs. This was a deal breaker and it wasn't Cascade's fault, it was my poor planning and me wanting to get it done ASAP.
I told Doug I wouldn't be selecting his company even though his bid was a very reasonable bid and by far not the highest. It came down to me wanting it done faster than they could fit me in.
All-in-all, the process of dealing with Cascade and Doug was very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call again. The attention to detail and willingness to spend extra time with me to understand my project and my needs says a lot about their approach to business.

very reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly staff.. would def recommend to anyone who need electrical work in the area

Price gouged! These people did us dirty. Were quoted, $90/hr, $1,500-1900 for swapping out main panel. At most they did 10 hours of work. We provided 99% of supplies and materials. We were charged nearly $2,800 dollars. That works out to $280/hr. We called and left VM. Waited a week and received no response. Called again and spoke with Mark. He did not have a satisfactory explanation.

Rebuilding outside the ""burn area"" has had some challenges; a biggy being electrical power.
After getting a ""permit"" for power from the county and applying over the phone with PG&E for a hook up I went looking for someone to install a pole, meter box and power panel.
One electrical company quoted $4000 + without even looking at the site. Another came out looked and again it was $4000+. Then I found Mark Greenwald and Cascade Electric of Chico 530.533,5218 .
First Mark explained that he could put up a Temp Power Pole but the work would have to be redone with a permanent pole when the house goes up, but by spending a few dollars more and installing a permanent pole now we could avoid the redo later saving us some money. They did a great job.

Cascade installed my 16KW Whole House Generator and did a fantastic job.
