I used Carter Electric 2 years ago to replace an electrical box. That work was carried out professionally and quickly. Dealing with the city inspector was an entirely different matter.

Today, I experienced an electrical outage in my kitchen which I could not resolve despite unplugging and plugging in all appliances, re-setting all the GFIs, and turning off and on all the switches at the box. I spoke on the phone with Jessica. She was extremely friendly and assisted me (over the phone!) to map out a series of other things to try to remedy the situation. Those maneuvers were successful without requiring a tech visit, or......a charge. I will certainly call Carter Electric again if I have other electrical problems or jobs.

Carter Electric was sent out through my home warranty to inspect an issue with my ceiling fan. The electrician turned on the fan for less than a minute and wrote what I told him the issue was. He didn't wait to see or smell the burning the old motor was causing. My home warranty claim was denied and now I'm out $65 for a 5 minute visit. Thanks Carter Electric! I'll go back and use Premo Electric, who thoroughly diagnosed the problem.

Carter Electric was so helpful in getting us a missing plate for our electric box that we so badly needed to complete our appraisal for refinancing. It took two trips for them to get it sorted out and they were nothing but professional. Jessica was so helpful on the phone!

Excellent service! I made my appointment yesterday and they were flexible enough to come during the two hour window of time that I was available. The technician arrived at the exact time I specified that I would be home, so I didn't have to wait around. The technician was very knowledgeable and found the problem right away and had all the repairs done within the hour. He cleaned everything up afterwards and was very polite and professional. I will definitely recommend Carter Electric to anyone I know who needs an electrician.

Great service provided when we experienced a power outage in our home. The electrician arrived within a few hours of the service call and fixed the issue within 2 hours which involved a lot of trouble shooting. Same day service is very important to me so I was very happy. The cost of the service was reasonable too.

Sometime last week I was experiencing some electrical problems at home so I decided to call this company to get problem corrected.. They gave me an appointment of 1pm, and I called out of work so I was able to facilitate their request to visit my home. First thing they came two hours later than agreed, the service provided was unprofessional, the job was incomplete and the work area was left messy. I called the office and ask to speak to the manager about the level of customer service received and was place on a lengthy hold. Not the best experience I have had.

We were getting the run around with our home warranty company and after two plumbers an electrician was scheduled to help us get hot water. Randy was beyond helpful not just working with our schedule, but he knew more about our solar/electric hot water heaters than the 3 plumbers and home inspector did.

I would recommend, if you have a problem, please call this company first!!!

I have used Carter Electric twice now. The first time I got really great service and a very reasonable price. Okay, I thought, this just might be that I got lucky and got a great technician to fix my problem. I called Carter again about 3 months down the road hoping I'd get lucky once more. Well, it happened again. Different technician, but same results. Great service from a pleasant individual who answered all my questions and met all my needs. Now, I'm hooked. Along with my great plumber, great painter, I know have a great electric company I can rely on. I've used others in the past and felt I got gouged with their pricing. Carter charges straight time at a reasonable rate and you never feel over charged. If you need electrical work done, this is the company. A very satisfied customer.
