Objectionable and useless visit through home warranty for ceiling fan (very similar to another review also found here - so clearly a pattern). The representative not only made no effort to fully evaluate the problem, but stood on a bed in his shoes in the process. A total waste of time. In addition, they did not report the PAID $65 to the home warranty company. I will be making a BBB complaint.

I would give 0 star if I could. They were sent out by my home warranty for my ceiling fan. The electrician step on my bed with his shoes to get to the ceiling fan. He also pushed my bed with his hips which scratch the floor and broke one of my outlet next to the bed. He did fixed the outlet when I pointed out to him. But he couldn't figure out what the problem is with the fan and he said it is my remote that is not a match for the fan. The remote worked for the entire time I own the house and he's trying to say it is the wrong remote. So my insurance deny the claim and I paid the guy 65 bucks to step on my bed and moved my furniture. I thought the nightmare is over at this point. But wait, 2 month later I got a letter from my home warranty says I owe carter electric 65 dollar service fee. I am providing my credit card statement trying to resolve it. Thank god I didn't pay the guy cash.

I used Carter Electric 2 years ago to replace an electrical box. That work was carried out professionally and quickly. Dealing with the city inspector was an entirely different matter.

Today, I experienced an electrical outage in my kitchen which I could not resolve despite unplugging and plugging in all appliances, re-setting all the GFIs, and turning off and on all the switches at the box. I spoke on the phone with Jessica. She was extremely friendly and assisted me (over the phone!) to map out a series of other things to try to remedy the situation. Those maneuvers were successful without requiring a tech visit, or......a charge. I will certainly call Carter Electric again if I have other electrical problems or jobs.

Carter Electric was sent out through my home warranty to inspect an issue with my ceiling fan. The electrician turned on the fan for less than a minute and wrote what I told him the issue was. He didn't wait to see or smell the burning the old motor was causing. My home warranty claim was denied and now I'm out $65 for a 5 minute visit. Thanks Carter Electric! I'll go back and use Premo Electric, who thoroughly diagnosed the problem.

Excellent service! I made my appointment yesterday and they were flexible enough to come during the two hour window of time that I was available. The technician arrived at the exact time I specified that I would be home, so I didn't have to wait around. The technician was very knowledgeable and found the problem right away and had all the repairs done within the hour. He cleaned everything up afterwards and was very polite and professional. I will definitely recommend Carter Electric to anyone I know who needs an electrician.

Great service provided when we experienced a power outage in our home. The electrician arrived within a few hours of the service call and fixed the issue within 2 hours which involved a lot of trouble shooting. Same day service is very important to me so I was very happy. The cost of the service was reasonable too.

Sometime last week I was experiencing some electrical problems at home so I decided to call this company to get problem corrected.. They gave me an appointment of 1pm, and I called out of work so I was able to facilitate their request to visit my home. First thing they came two hours later than agreed, the service provided was unprofessional, the job was incomplete and the work area was left messy. I called the office and ask to speak to the manager about the level of customer service received and was place on a lengthy hold. Not the best experience I have had.
