Another five star review. Mario came out to fix two pendant lights in our kitchen. It was complicated but he figured out the problem and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I will definitely call him the next time I need an electrician.

Five stars! Mario was excellent- I reached out to several contractors about a broken light bulb base I could not remove myself despite several attempts ; Mario replied back to me within the hour, came out same day, was punctual and provided a professional service explaining everything! He appears very knowledgable about wiring. He charged a very reasonable price (other Contractors were going to charge me double+ the price!). He also genuinely seemed to enjoy his work and care about the results.

He even kindly offered to look at another light fixture in our pantry (that was incorrectly wired and not working) while here and knew immediately what to do!

Would highly recommend Mario , we will definitely be returning to him for any further electric needs!

If you are looking for an electrician, LOOK NO FURTHER , MARIO is your man for the job!! He hooked up my new chandelier, sconces, hardwired additional outlets, and even handled some handyman work. I plan to use him again to redo our electrical panel, and add some outdoor security cameras.

I highly recommend him. He is extremely knowledgeable and I felt comfortable we were in good hands. His expertise and showmanship speaks for itself.

I am really pleased with Carranza Electric. I had an outdoor light fixture above the backdoor that was so corroded, I couldn't even get it loose. Mario happened to have an opening the same day. He arrived right on time and had it replaced with the new one I had in about 30 minutes. I had gotten other quotes including one where they wanted to charge me a few hundred just to come and look at the fixture! After I texted a photo, Mario quoted a reasonable price over the phone and charged exactly that when he was finished. I know I'll definitely call Mario again for the next electrical repair.

Mario Installed NEMA 14-50 outlet in my home. During our conversation for quote he was very responsive. He arrived on time and did an amazing work!

Long story short, Mario is the best. We hired him to install 2 circuits. The 1st circuit included new breaker, wall switch (we provided) and 3 external flood lights (we provided). The switch is being installed into a 3 gang box where only 2 locations were used. He provided a new outlet and we provided another switch. I wasn't expecting him to replace the 3 gang box, but he did that too. This job was a bit complex, and we were worried about the feasibility of the job, so we expressed our concerns about not creating holes until he was certain of success. He did exactly what we wanted. In addition, he used this circuit to off load an overloaded one in our kitchen while he was at it.
The other circuit was simpler, as it was for 3 external outlets, and he did a great job on this too.
While he was out, I asked Mario to look at our dining room chandelier where a neutral wire was broke. Our house is old and has wood paneling, so opening walls is not really an option. Mario investigated the situation, and luckily found a way to repurpose wires that were going through the chandelier to a wall switch for under cabinet lighting. Fortunatly that light switch was in the same box as outlets on a different circuit. This was just before christmas, so we thought it was a christmas miracle.
Mario is so easy to work with and he is extremely professional. My wife has cleanliness protocols and Mario complied 100% (he did better than I do). When Mario completed the job, I couldn't be happier. I don't know how to convey to you how happy I was, but it was the happiest feeling that I can recall for a long while.
The next day we discovered that our Microwave oven was tripping the new GFCI/AFCI circuit breaker. Mario said he would come and either change the circuit breaker, or undo the load rebalancing he did earlier. I did some investigation (searching it out on internet) and convinced myself that it was a compatibility issue with the AFCI and Microwave. Later we replaced the mircrowave as it had some other issues and the new one doesn't trip the AFCI. I bring this up only because it shows how Mario stands behind his work, was willing to come back and adust, even though he did everything perfect.
It is my nature to escort people and watch them when they work. I will tell you this, Mario kept me informed every step of the way, listened to me, always positive attitude. He thinks through everything he does, which is why he delivered fantastic results. I look forward to hiring Mario again, and am unsurprised by everyone elses postivie reviews.
