My name is Michael Digruccio I want to tell you my story about Carolina cool if you happen to need an air-conditioner like I have and I know it's a big amount to lay out make sure you buy it from Carolina cool because you're not a customer your family wire conditioner couldn't be put in until this Friday but the manager of Carolina cool sent out at technician to try to get my air-conditioner running which he did and saved me a lot of heart ache I recommend this company 150% because these people care about you more than only a customer thank you,I also want to say that customer service for the Carolina cool is outstanding the two people who installed my air-conditioner was fantastic I can't believe how good and how courteous they were if anybody needs an air conditioner I was suggest Carolina cool thank you

Carolina cool installed a new Trane air handler and heat pump last summer. I should have known there would be issues when their follow up inspector came out and had to fix three issues left by the installers. A few months in the system stopped working and after 5 visits from Carolina cool they finally determined that the problem was a leak in the line set. Despite this almost certainly being caused by the installation of the new system Carolina cool refused to repair/replace it. They initially quoted $1300 to get it replaced and after three phone calls and two trips to their office to speak with three managers they were wouldn't budge below $700 despite it being a result of their installation. I got quotes from multiple other companies and they were all in the $400-600 range so needless to say I had them do the work and will not be doing any more business with the overpriced and unreliable Carolina cool ever again.

The service technician was rude and cynical from the start. He talked over me, quickly criticizing everything I said (once I was given a chance to talk). He made me take a perfectly clean filter out of the intake and change it even though the new one looked identical to the first one. He is the 5th or 6th ac person to come out for this unit. The landlord refuses to replace the old unit. One finds one thing, another finds something else. Todd, the tech, chose to replace a different part (and this one was needed, I must say). However, nobody is going to come into my dwelling and be that rude! At least not if I can help it!

Don't use these guys. I rebuilt my home, selected the best of the three options presented. They were unprofessional during the install, the installer went nose to nose with my 70 year old father who was onsite at the time...

$16,000 later, the unit can't keep up. I have an 1800 sq ft home with vaulted ceilings. They installed a 2 ton Carrier unit and full new duct work.

Turns out it should have been a 3 ton unit. I have heard this from two other A/C companies.

My bedroom is a good 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house which, on a hot day, is up to 8-10 degrees over the 72 set point. Sorry, but they do not know what they are doing.

I am very disappointed and considering legal action. They don't care, they won't call you back. Once they get paid, they are gone. But they are happy to pressure you to sign an over priced service contract.

We called several air conditioning company's. All came out and gave estimates. Two of them were a waste of time. Carolina Cool was prompt and right on time. Told us they could change it out within 48 hours. Had the entire unit upstairs and down replaced in no time. They were extremely careful coming in and out of our home. We could not be there because our daughter in law was having there first baby. We came home to a team working on the unit and almost finished . They cleaned up and was very courteous. Could not be happier , thank you, Carolina Cool.

Their technical work was great and they were very responsive to our needs and did excellent work. However, they have been maintaining our place at the beach and they had a key to our place to enter it when needed. They lost our key twice and the administrative side of the house was less than responsive. We called to have them give us an estimate on a new unit and they said they would get back with the following day with a quote. That call never came.
