Our AC broke on Saturday March 21, 2020. Thank you for sending your fantastic technician Jim. Our home was built 2 years ago. The warranty just expired at the end of Feb. we have had problems since we moved in. Apparently it was a defective installation but the company who installed it as well as the builder didn't want to pay to have it properly fixed. So they kept piece meal repairing it. Well now it's out of warranty. Your tech Jim was able to immediately diagnose the problem. Although it will cost us a small fortune to repair, I'm confident that when the parts are in and you sent Jim back it will be fine. He's fantastic and excellent. Thank you!!

Carolina Cool explained the equipment that needed to be replaced and arrived on time. Their proposal was very thorough and both technicians (for the hot water heater and HVAC) followed up to ensure I understood their recommendations and equipment to be installed. Our project was not an easy one - our air handler was encapsulated in the ceiling and not accessible but needed to be replaced. They worked all day and left my house clean as well.

We had a slab leak, which we had never heard of, we thought it was due to a water heater failing and the flooding that ensued was awful. Our wood floors were ruined and had to be replaced. My husband called Carolina Cool due to reviews. They were fantastic. They came out within an hour, which we never expected. They found the leak (with digital equipment), they determined it was not our water heater, fixed the leak, and did it without destruction, even though they had to jack hammer our floor. No mess they didn't clean up before they left. They could have had us wait a day or two to finish because it was late in the day, but they stayed into the evening. They made sure everything was fixed before they left. The staff was courteous and thoughtful. We are so grateful. We recently had our HVAC system go through an annual review, and would only call them. We will never call anyone else in this area for our HVAC and plumbing, pretty much anything else they cover. I highly recommend them, their staff, and the courteous and efficient way they deal with their customers. Thank you Carolina Cool.

My name is Michael Digruccio I want to tell you my story about Carolina cool if you happen to need an air-conditioner like I have and I know it's a big amount to lay out make sure you buy it from Carolina cool because you're not a customer your family wire conditioner couldn't be put in until this Friday but the manager of Carolina cool sent out at technician to try to get my air-conditioner running which he did and saved me a lot of heart ache I recommend this company 150% because these people care about you more than only a customer thank you,I also want to say that customer service for the Carolina cool is outstanding the two people who installed my air-conditioner was fantastic I can't believe how good and how courteous they were if anybody needs an air conditioner I was suggest Carolina cool thank you

Carolina cool installed a new Trane air handler and heat pump last summer. I should have known there would be issues when their follow up inspector came out and had to fix three issues left by the installers. A few months in the system stopped working and after 5 visits from Carolina cool they finally determined that the problem was a leak in the line set. Despite this almost certainly being caused by the installation of the new system Carolina cool refused to repair/replace it. They initially quoted $1300 to get it replaced and after three phone calls and two trips to their office to speak with three managers they were wouldn't budge below $700 despite it being a result of their installation. I got quotes from multiple other companies and they were all in the $400-600 range so needless to say I had them do the work and will not be doing any more business with the overpriced and unreliable Carolina cool ever again.

The service technician was rude and cynical from the start. He talked over me, quickly criticizing everything I said (once I was given a chance to talk). He made me take a perfectly clean filter out of the intake and change it even though the new one looked identical to the first one. He is the 5th or 6th ac person to come out for this unit. The landlord refuses to replace the old unit. One finds one thing, another finds something else. Todd, the tech, chose to replace a different part (and this one was needed, I must say). However, nobody is going to come into my dwelling and be that rude! At least not if I can help it!
