Called Carolina Conditions to replace a cgfi outlet, no wiring, outdoors with easy access, just a simple job that should take 15 minutes or so. The outlet itself costs about $15, The charge from Carolina Conditions was $288.

I needed an electrical wire removed from an old AC Unit the previous owner had wired illegally. The technician came out on tine. Was extremely polite, and even petted my cat who begging him for attention! 15 minutes and he was done! So grateful for the promptness, politeness, and (I'll admit) ... for petting my cat. Nit everyone likes cats, and some are afraid of them but when a cat meowing at demanding pets... he was so sweet to her and I really appreciated that!

I had them out here yesterday to look at my AC system. It was working in October, but not functional now. I called and asked for their $99 maintenance special. I always knew it would probably cost more, such is the way of HVAC in my experience. Upon arrival, the technician checked exactly one thing, the refrigerant level. Finding it low, he informed me that he could not service it because it used R-22. Fine. I get it, my system is old and needs replacing.
I still got charged the full $99, and I did not even get offered a receipt. I do not feel that there was enough work done to justify the bill, and that a more honest company would have treated it like a free quote (which Carolina Conditions claims to offer). It seems like a bad business decision to lose a customer (and a 5 star review) over a hundred dollars. I do have to get a new system, but I do not have to buy it from them. If I had put that hundred dollars in a window unit, I would not be burning up in here tomorrow.
Before I end this rant, I want to explain why they didn't get 1 star. The customer service rep on the phone, Kim, was phenomenal. She was friendly, professional, and quick to get me the appointment. Also, the technician was very good as well. I suspect that my complaints with this company lie with management decisions rather than with the front line employees.

I called for 2 inspections on my new build HVAC and Plumbing. They gave me a time from 1130 to 1300 for both to arrive. The day of the inspection, the two inspectors called and said they were on their way and would be there at 1130. The proved to be true, they were both there by 1130. They both introduced themselves, which was pleasant and commensed to inspecting. Every little piece of information or question i had they answered. A question as simple as, what is that white thing coming out the ground, yes i know it now to be sewer, was explained. The HVAC technician was also informative explaining how the AC works and how to properly use my AC control system. This is the type of professionals needed in every arena. I am so appreciative of these two Michael and for some reason I cannot remember the other technicians name, my apologies. Customer service at the highest level. Give these gentlemen pay raises. Great job. Much appreciated.

This place advertises ""24/7 emergency services"", yet it took us almost 5 hours to reach anyone in a dire emergency. THEN, they informed me that they couldn't have anyone come out here for TWO DAYS!!! Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional!

Forest Bunting came out today and cleaned my driver vent duct work. Very professional and did a great job. Frightening how much lint accumulates in this line. Highly recommend Forest and this company.

Carolina Conditions worked us into the schedule on short notice after our leak from the meter to the house was located. The tree roots were so extensive that they felt that an excavator MIGHT be needed which would require locator services for other underground lines. When that could not be worked in until 3 days later, they came back out after 4:00PM, manually dug out and cut tree roots to get to the leak, repaired the leak and restored full service to the house. The plumber said ""I just couldn't see you folks going 3-4 days with a leak while you wait for the locator services to come out."" Unbelievable!!! Who thinks customer service like that any more!!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND WOULD USE AGAIN!!!

I was unfair to Carolina conditions in my initial review , I let my frustration s get the best of me, my wife and I bought our house in 2016 and although we are seniors, we were very naive, and were ripped off by most everyone we dealt with, trim that was supposedly replaced was caulked and painted over, ac ducts were never replaced like we were told, the list goes on, I recently had heart surgery and was out of work and money for 3 months, now we are trying to get fixed what we can afford, so when someone gives us a verbal estimate of one amount, and then we get a written amount for a thousand more, I felt like we were being taken advantage of. I don't believe this to be the case with Carolina conditions, they were all very polite professionals, so I apologise. Just wish the world had more compassion for one another. God bless us all. And to the owner of C C, thank you for your service, I have 3 brothers 2 retired from the Marines, and 1 was in the Navy. 2 Grandsons that were in the Army.

Please know that Carolina Conditions will not stand behind the equipment they install. My unit, installed by Carolina Conditions, was within the manufacturer's warranty. They refused to inspect the problem without the $89 diagnostic fee despite me offering to provide photos and video of the water coming from the unit into my home. They stated that their labor warranty was only for 12 months and I would be expected to pay for labor so they could pay their technicians on top of the diagnostic fee. So, please know that beyond that first year you are on your own and they will make money off of you for the diagnostic and repairs so the 10-year warranty they say the product has, really isn't worth much to you unless you're fine paying a diagnostic to receive an undeterminable quote for equipment that was installed by their technicians. They literally worked to find every loophole possible to not have to cover the equipment. It's just not good business. If you're okay with that, by all means take your chances, but I'll look for a company that stands behind the equipment they install.

My air went out today (Sunday) so I called a few companies to see who could help. A couple of the companies told me I needed to wait until next week, but Carolina Conditions sent out a technician to figure out the problem. He fixed the problem while on the inspection call. I expected to wait for a few days to get it fixed, but they took care of me the same day. I highly recommend Carolina Conditions!
