Carolina Conditions worked us into the schedule on short notice after our leak from the meter to the house was located. The tree roots were so extensive that they felt that an excavator MIGHT be needed which would require locator services for other underground lines. When that could not be worked in until 3 days later, they came back out after 4:00PM, manually dug out and cut tree roots to get to the leak, repaired the leak and restored full service to the house. The plumber said ""I just couldn't see you folks going 3-4 days with a leak while you wait for the locator services to come out."" Unbelievable!!! Who thinks customer service like that any more!!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND WOULD USE AGAIN!!!

I was unfair to Carolina conditions in my initial review , I let my frustration s get the best of me, my wife and I bought our house in 2016 and although we are seniors, we were very naive, and were ripped off by most everyone we dealt with, trim that was supposedly replaced was caulked and painted over, ac ducts were never replaced like we were told, the list goes on, I recently had heart surgery and was out of work and money for 3 months, now we are trying to get fixed what we can afford, so when someone gives us a verbal estimate of one amount, and then we get a written amount for a thousand more, I felt like we were being taken advantage of. I don't believe this to be the case with Carolina conditions, they were all very polite professionals, so I apologise. Just wish the world had more compassion for one another. God bless us all. And to the owner of C C, thank you for your service, I have 3 brothers 2 retired from the Marines, and 1 was in the Navy. 2 Grandsons that were in the Army.

Please know that Carolina Conditions will not stand behind the equipment they install. My unit, installed by Carolina Conditions, was within the manufacturer's warranty. They refused to inspect the problem without the $89 diagnostic fee despite me offering to provide photos and video of the water coming from the unit into my home. They stated that their labor warranty was only for 12 months and I would be expected to pay for labor so they could pay their technicians on top of the diagnostic fee. So, please know that beyond that first year you are on your own and they will make money off of you for the diagnostic and repairs so the 10-year warranty they say the product has, really isn't worth much to you unless you're fine paying a diagnostic to receive an undeterminable quote for equipment that was installed by their technicians. They literally worked to find every loophole possible to not have to cover the equipment. It's just not good business. If you're okay with that, by all means take your chances, but I'll look for a company that stands behind the equipment they install.

My air went out today (Sunday) so I called a few companies to see who could help. A couple of the companies told me I needed to wait until next week, but Carolina Conditions sent out a technician to figure out the problem. He fixed the problem while on the inspection call. I expected to wait for a few days to get it fixed, but they took care of me the same day. I highly recommend Carolina Conditions!

The team at Carolina Conditions is great! They take the time to identify HVAC issues, do complete inspections, and find ways to fix each one of the properly. They don't cut corners and are not the ones to call if you need something improperly fixed - they are the ones to call when you need permanent solutions - heat leaking from ductwork, energy inefficiency, proper maintenance of the HVAC system, upgrades, and complete HVAC replacement. They may be more expensive than some other companies, but the money you will save in improved efficiently and energy conservation are well worth it.

I work for a large office building where Carolina Conditions has done several jobs to replace/improve outdated plumbing. They have been on time and have done excellent work! We also have had them do work at multiple rental houses for air conditioning, plumbing and routine servicing and they have always been solid! I have a lot of trust in these guys since they have been professional and reliable time after time! Would highly recommend!

Terrible experience. Tech came out and worked on my unit. Said it was wired incorrectly and redid all the wiring. Then parts started burning out and a new tech comes out to take a look. He says that the unit was still wired wrong and that's what caused the damages. The company is now trying to bill me over $700 to fix what they broke! Absolutely ridiculous! Take your business ANYWHERE else.

I purchased a new HVAC system from Carolina Conditions & it has been the worst experience I've ever had.

Carolina Conditions installed 2 Mitsubishi ductless mini-split system with 7 FH model wall mounted head units. I also hired them to remove the old HVAC/furnace units & all the duct work.

It's been a year to date since the initial install (10/20/2016) & things still aren't right. I've been very patient but this company has terrible response time & is not at all concerned with doing a good job or customer satisfaction after they've received their money.

They were supposed to remove all parts of my old HVAC system & seal up all the ducts & vents. This took months! Until February - 4 months! The initial removal was supposedly done in a week so they could proceed with the Mitsubishi ductless install but they left many of the floor vents open or taped up with cardboard. For months I had to stuff towels into the old floor vents so we didn't have to smell the damp, nasty crawl space air. Plus it was cold in December & January & the chilled air from under the house came up through the unsealed vents. I had to put throw rugs & blankets over the unsealed ducts & the cold air still came up.

I called & complained repeatedly. They would send someone out & give me excuses. I finally had to crawl under the house to take pictures & found they had left litter, discarded tubes of sealer, & parts of the old system laying under the house. Plus one of the electrical wires from the old furnace hanging uncapped from the floor beams. I sent the pictures to the owner before the owner came out 4 months later to find out what was happening.

In the meantime, the techs installed the Mitsubishi system. For the initial install, they promised to cover everything so the plaster dust wouldn't be all over everything & they said they would clean everything up when they finished. That was a big fat fib. They didn't cover anything & when they drilled through the walls, plaster dust covered everything. We had most of the units wiring routed through the closets so they would be hidden. Dust over EVERYTHING! We had to wash the clothes in 3 bedroom closets & clean up the plaster dust from the shelving & floors in the closets & the pantry. It was a mess!

They also damaged the shelving in one of the bedroom closets because they didn't check before they drilled through the wall. Instead of offering to fix it, they just left it like that - said there was nothing they could do to fix it because they didn't have a carpenter working for them. By this time a few of the techs were down right rude to me. As if them damaging my home was all part of the install and I should except it. It was already February and they had their money so it was no worry to Carolina Conditions.

They left a very large hole in the attic floor where they removed the return air duct from the old system. A HUGE HOLE. Large enough for an adult to fall through. I could stand in the garage and see right into the attic. Their explanation was that covering that hole in my garage ceiling/attic floor wasn't included in the price (nearly $22,000)! For $22,000 I was expecting quality work.

In February I finally got the owner out to show him the lousy work that had been done. He agreed that it was some horrible work & he would make things right. That took many more visits. I finally had to have a carpenter come to fix the shelving & pay for it myself, plus things were NOT right.

Mid February through May the Mitsubishi system had all sorts of problems. Bad controllers, units turning themselves off, leaking pumps, & units just not working correctly. One of the worst problems are the units themselves. They won't stop blowing air. It doesn't matter if you have them set to heat or cool, they continue to blow air. We weren't told about this problem when they sold us the system. THIS IS STILL UNRESOLVED. It makes it uncomfortable to be in the rooms because there is constant air blowing on you. During the night, the unit in my mothers room blows down onto her bed. I've repeated told Carolina Conditions that this is a huge problem (there is a fix to this). My mother is 82 years old & she can't tolerate the constant air blowing on her & it's affecting her health. To date, one year later, they still haven't address this very large problem!

Another problem, the Mitsubishi system pumps make a loud humming noise. The on/off cycling of the humming pump is loud enough to wake you up at night. Carolina Conditions had to replace all the pumps. THE KITCHEN UNIT PUMP IS STILL SO LOUD THAT IT VIBRATES THE WALL.

September (11 months), the wall unit in the sun room started leaking like a waterfall. It took over a week to get it fixed. No rush on Carolina Conditions part. I've lost count of the times the techs have come out to work on this system. A year has gone by & I'm still having problems.

Bottom line, Carolina Conditions doesn't do quality work & they aren't concerned about customer satisfaction.

We called Carolina Conditions this morning as our furnace quit furnacing and our air conditioning refused to condition any longer. The office sent Eric out to inspect and diagnose the issue. Eric was extremely professional, friendly and very willing to stop and explain each issue. It turned out that the recommendation was to replace the system. Daniel came to us, also extremely professional, friendly and very willing to explain and answer questions for us. I must say that I really expect that the comments made earlier by Mark C. were likely the result of a misunderstanding. I highly recommend Carolina Conditions and appreciate all those from the company we came into contact with.
