I hired Carlos to do some work. He was responsive and did the work without much issue at a decent price. The second time I tried to hire him he was a no-show. Didn't give any warning, just didn't show up and never called. I texted him and he responded later that he couldn't do it that day (ps-thanks, I stayed home for nothing that day). I tried to text a couple more times to see if he would reschedule. Nothing back. Odd thing is that it was a bigger payday job for him than the previous.

Spoke with Carlos around 2pm on a Friday, said he could make it around 3 and to text the address. After 4 texted again to ask for an ETA update, and he said he ""wouldn't make it before the sun went down."" Let him know I was fine with that or to let me know his Saturday availability but never heard from him again after that. Had to wait until Monday to book someone else (BK Elec -- highly recommend!). In hindsight, perhaps Carlos was referencing Sabbath with a Friday sundown time limit, but never mentioned a religious deadline. Wish he'd been upfront so I could have kept making calls and get my repair sorted and finished more weekend projects!

Carlos came to fix a circuit that had tripped due to a frayed wire on an outlet. While he was able to fix the circuit, my biggest issue was he continually refused to wear a mask in the house (after I asked three times and explained we take care of older folks) and left one of the outlets he worked on in bad shape. Picture attached.

I know masks can be a pain, but when a customer asks for you to wear a mask inside their house, it should be common courtesy to do so... and leave the outlets in the same/better condition you found them.

We had a burned out wire from our water heater. I called another great electrician we have used in the past but he was too busy to get to us this week. I asked that electrician who he recommended and he told me the best guy he knows would be Carlos and referred us to him. So Carlos came highly recommended by another electrician who we trust.

Our house is very old and the wiring is messy and complicated. Carlos arrived, knew immediately what was wrong and took care of the problem quickly. He found a problem where the guy who installed the water heater had miswired something. Carlos let us watch him work and explained what was going on clearly. While he was working I mentioned that the outlet in my bathroom was also not working. Even though that was not what we called him about originally, Carlos still took the time to look at it and gave us great advise about what to do about it. He was amazing.

And we were happily surprised at his rate. It was beyond reasonable considering all the work he did while he was here. We will definitely use him in the future and highly recommend him.

Had a few outlets that didn't work and had 2 larger companies turn me away because the job was too small (they were actually friendly and honest about the fact that the charge to come out wasn't worth it). But they recommended Carlos and thankfully he was able to come out the same day. Responsive and efficient. Will definitely keep his info for future calls!

Carlos was great. Come over and wired my entre house with Ethernet
wiring. For those of you that have Netflix and are tired of crappy wifi
during peak hours - I recommend installing Ethernet wiring from your
wifi modem. Crystal clear 4K viewing all the time! Thanks Carlos for
allowing me to use all of my 4K tvs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
