On Dec. 9, 2022, I found the contractor's advertisement (free estimate) on Craigslist. I called him and texted him the address where my tenant complained the lights inside the house intermittently flickered. The lights flicked before and then they were back to normal.
After checking the electrical panel, he called me and explained to me that the circuit breakers didn't function well. By replacing the circuit breakers, the issue should be solved. He offered me two options. The first option would be to replace the circuit breakers. If the issue persists after new breakers are installed, then the second option would be to replace the panel. He gave me a quote of $1300 to replace the breakers and $977.81 to replace the panel in case the new breakers don't solve the problem. The quote to replace the panel is good till 12/23/2022 so we have 2 weeks to monitor the new breakers to see if they work. To replace the breakers, he was willing to do the job for $1186.45 if I could pay by cash or Zelle so he could avoid tax. I asked him to provide a detailed estimate breakdown of replacing circuit breakers and he refused to give me one and told me he would send it over only after the payment is received. He kept telling me and my tenant the fire hazard is imminent. Feeling the pressure from him, I agreed for him to replace the circuit breakers on the condition that only if his quote is in line with market rate. About 30 mins later, he texted me that the job was completed and the issue is solved. He demanded the payment sent to his number by Zelle. I asked again for the breakdown and he said he will send me later that evening.
After numerous text message requests, he finally send me an invoice that night. He asked me to sign that invoice otherwise the quote to replace the panel will not be valid. He never gave me any detailed quote for circuit breakers replacement. Next morning, I did some research online and find out the materials cost for circuit breakers is about $200. He charged me almost $1200 to replace them. I questioned him about the charge and he finally gave me the breakdown that the cost of breakers is $204. Since then, I have obtained 2 verbal and one written estimate to replace these 8 circuit breakers. The average cost is between $450 and $500.
His charge is far well above the market rate . It is a breach of verbal contract. He took advantage of the situation and it is a rip-off and price gouging. The contractor conducted illegal activity by defrauding and deceiving the homeowner. Stay away from him.

Needed to get some electrical work done and was in communication with this company, but getting them to come out was impossible. I texted over and over with them completely ghosting me. If I was out of their area, or they simply didn't want to do the work, they could have been professional enough to communicate that vs just going completely silent and not responding. I wouldn't use them again, and I would suggest looking for another company to use.

Called this company to diagnose an electrical issue. It was a simple wiring issue. Brandon was so certain that my devices were causing the short. I trusted this guy and I agreed to replaced them. Later, he found out it was the wire that went bad. When I disputed to him about paying labor + materials that I wasn't supposed to buy, he got real mad. We were not happy with his diagnosis and his bad business practices. His response was that he is not in the business to make his customers happy which contradicts what is said on their yelp profile. The owner will take your money and run! Be careful and don't trust this company.

The most important thing to me when calling for any type of home contracted services, is that someone actually answers their phone. The owner of CES, Brandon Campbell did just that!
Brandon dropped by my home (Yucaipa, CA) that same day of my initial phone call to get an actual visual on my various requests, he provided me with a detailed cost estimate in writing and immediately won my business.
Brandon and his assistant, Cole did an amazing electrical upgrade on our home, which included the following:
- Main Electrical Panel Upgrade
- Added Ceiling Fans to Bedrooms, Living Room and Breezeway
- Added Dusk-to-Dawn Outdoor Lighting to Garage/Driveway, Front Porch, Breezeway, Side Yard, Back Yard and Back Door/Pool Side
- Added Recepticals/Outlets some with USB Charging Slots in the Kitchen, Breezeway, Living Room and Garage.
- Added a Light Fixture and Switch to the Guest Hallway
- Added a New Garage Door Opener
The magnificent change in and out of our home has made such a huge impact on us, that it is strongly felt and seen throughout our entire home and property.
Our outdoor living space is brighter, it gives us that secured feeling during the evenings, it's cost effective/energy saving and and it feels cool with the outdoor ceiling fan during the hot California weather.
Our indoor living space feels so much cooler with the ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms and living room. Looking forward to not always having to run the central AC in order to keep the house cool during the hot summer days. The added light fixture and switch in the guest hallway is an excellent added touch, as there was no lighting installed when we first purchased the house. Also, the dedicated circuits to the microwave and one for the fridge has completely stopped the breaker from tripping.
The owner, Brandon is an easy person to get along with, carries himself professionally and is a straight shooter in a tactful manner. He makes sure his work meets the expected standard codes of today. His quality workmanship and craftsmanship is superior. He cleans up after any mess made, which is a plus. Brandon can definitely get a lot of work done in a days work. He has so many years of experience and knows what he's doing. His pricing is competitive and lower than what most large corporate companies would charge.
My Husband & I plan to utilize CES's services in the near future for further electrical upgrades done onto our home. We plan to refer his business to my Husband's business colleagues that are homeowners, as well. Also, we encourage anyone and everyone to hire CES as your one-stop-shop for any type of electrical needs/upgrades done to your home and/or place of business.
This is an honest and genuine 5-Star Review from a more than satisfied customer. Brandon of CES is definitely highly recommended!

Spring of 2018
Brandon replaced my electrical panel and hooked up my above ground spa. He was quick, through reliable and friendly. His response time is great and you can tell he really cares about customer satisfactions. I highly recommend him and will definitely hire him again for future projects!

I called Brandon and asked him to install a chandelier. He was on time, communicative, and I can tell he takes pride in his work. He did an amazing job. His pricing was half of what I was quoted from other electricians. One thing that I really appreciate about his is that he makes double sure his work will last and is done right. This is my second time working with him and I will definitely hire him again in the future.

Great, fast and reliable work. Reasonably priced, the technician that came out assessed my roof for solar panels within the same day that I called. He was able to give me a quote that same day which I appreciated very much because I wanted to move forward ASAP. I did compare pricing before confirming to give this company the work, and by far am happy I went with them. Installation alone was completed in just 3 Days!

WARNING WARNING BEWARE!!!!!This guy is NOT licensed!!!!Work will cause fire STEAR CLEAR !!!! Work I could see looked ok ""it's not up to code ""Work in attic let's just say definitely NOT up to CODE or safe in anyway !! Tried to contact with no luck .....people who have had Brandon Campbell do work check where you can't see (attics and panel)

Due to the Holy Fire and a rainstorm on the denuded hills above my home, a mudslide destroyed 1/2 of my property and was yellow tagged by the County of Riverside. I had to immediately cut power because of damage sustained to the pedestal connecting power lines from the street to the house.
I found Brandon and Campbell Electric Solar on Yelp because I needed contractors I could trust. After my initial inquiry, Brandon contacted me at lightening speed and came out to see the problem that day. Before being under contract, he spoke with Riverside County officials for further information and cringed when delivering the news this was going to be the worst case scenario. Prior to that, he felt my system was sound and didn't want to charge a dime for anything!
I cannot speak highly enough about Brandon's professionalism and proficiency. He was prompt, personable, financially reasonable and had my job done and signed off by the County in 3 days. He will definitely be recommended to anyone who asks me about a quality electrician.
Hire him!

I work in the Real Estate Industry and I am always looking for good contractors which are hard to come by. Brandon started out excellent in a project of replacing outlets, adding cans however it turned out that he isn't one for finishing a job. He installed several outlets in which over 6 of them he left hanging out. Two switches don't have power to them and then he cracked our ceiling slipping. Once that happened he said ""I guess I am working for Free and I am no longer motivated"" I thought he was kidding but haven't seen him since. I now have to hire a second Electrician to come out and fix his uncompleted job. I tried reaching out several times via text, phone and tried email but I guess I had the wrong email and no response. It takes alot for me to write a negative review about anyone so those that know me know that If I am writing this is because Brandon was unprofessional on not responding and or finishing a job that he was paid for.

My mom found Brandon on Yelp for some electrical work she needed at her house. I decided to hire him as well...not only are his prices fair but he's also a down to earth-genuine dude who's not out to nickel and dime you. Plus he's witty and has a good sense of humor which makes for a comfortable setting.
I hired Brandon to install a new dining room chandelier on a vaulted ceiling, an entry light, ceiling fan, breakfast nook light fixture and a new Honeywell digital thermostat which he did all without hesitation and gave me a very reasonable price. We also had him fix faulty wiring with our whole house fan that suddenly stopped working.
There was a slight hiccup with the ceiling fan due to a unforeseen manufacturer defect (no fault to Brandon) however he did agree to come back during the weekend to finish the job once I got the part replaced. He is also very detail oriented and made several small adjustments to the chandelier to ensure it was hanging as straight as possible for a vaulted ceiling.
I'm so glad I have a trustworthy electrician in my contacts now! Look no further, Brandon is the guy to call.
