I had Rob come out to initially check up on some minor electrical problems. I liked the manner that he attacked the problem by first hearing me out, checking on a few things, then getting into it to fix the problem. Less than 1 hour later - all fixed!

I was so happy with Rob's work that I hired him to install a dozen lights throughout the house before my ceilings were going to be remade. His lighting suggestions were spot on and everything, to use a pun was 'enlightening'. Sorry Rob. All jokes aside I will ask of Rob's services without hesitation for the future. He is now my electrical guru.

I called Rob from Calray Electric to come over to fix an electrical issue in my kitchen. When he came over he took apart the plug and actually let me know that the way it was wired (my husband had done a quick fix) was actually the right way. He told me that he was not charging me for the trip out to my house or for the time it took for him to pull apart the plug and assess the problem. He also offered to fix any other minor electrical issues I was having. He even offered to put in new electrical screws in the socket, which he had in his truck. Even though I did not need service this time around I WILL call Rob from Calray next time anything is needed. Truly amazing customer service!!! He was also the lowest hourly charge I had found after calling a few other electricians.

Rob installed a ceiling fan in our master bedroom....angled roof, no attic space above it and no existing fixture, a tough job and he did it perfectly. Also installed a new outlet for us in the living room without any problem. Would highly recommend.

Congratulations. You sorted by ""rating"" and found Rob. Now go hire him, he's the real deal. Friendly, professional, highly competent, prompt and courteous. He fixed a few nagging problems we had and installed a doorbell. I thought it was about a half day of work, but he finished in less than two hours, excluding a parts run. I was very impressed by Rob at Calray. He showed up on time and quickly did a simple ext. outlet install. When I asked him to clean up some wires and take out an old irrigation system, no problem. He also gave me some good feedback on interior lighting and three way dimmers. I thought the price was fair and am now ordering multiple fixtures for him to install.

CalRay showed up on time and installed some wiring in my ceiling. They did a great job for a reasonable price, and cut the drywall so that it would be able to be reinstalled by a drywall repair specialist, whom they also recommended. I would definitely call CalRay again in the future.

I will call Rob at Calray again when I have future electrical needs and that is more than I can say for the last electrician I had out.

Called Rob to do a simple job installing overhead lighting in a couple bedrooms and the garage. He was able to come out the next day. He showed up on time for the appointment and had a written estimate in my email box that night. I had 2 other guys come out and found Calray's prices very reasonable. We scheduled an appointment for the following week and Rob again showed up on time. The work was done professionally and timely. Rob and his assistant Raoul were both very friendly, neat and clean. (He even wore those silly booties to keep my new carpet clean and vaccuumed after.) He also changed out an electrical outlet that had given me problems for no extra cost.

Always do your homework and get multiple quotes when hiring contractors. Just make sure Rob is one of them.

Rob provides outstanding customer service! I didn't think people like him existed anymore. I made an appointment with Calray to replace a few faulty outlets and light fixtures. Simple stuff and certainly nothing I thought I could be impressed about - but I was wrong. Rob answered a late night email within minutes after I sent it. He showed up exactly on time, fixed the known faulty outlets and did a quick check of all others. He was friendly, professional, thorough and efficient.

After he completed all of the work and I paid for the service, he went to leave and noticed a problem with our door handle/lock as he was on the way out. The door had caused us problems for months and we just never got around to fixing it. Since he had the tools on him, he offered to take a quick look. Turns out the issue wasn't exactly a quick fix, yet he stayed and fixed it for us and then refused to let me pay him for the extra time. Who does that these days?

I would highly recommend Rob to anyone!
