I needed a new 100amp main panel at my house to replace the old Federal Pacific ""fire hazard"" panel. Henry, the owner of the company, did all the work in just a few hours.
The job was permitted and passed inspection with no issues. His price was much less than other electricians that I contacted. The bottom line - he showed up on time; he did the job right; he charged a very fair price. I can easily recommend California Power and Light.

i got a good referral to henry, needed panel upgrade paid 23 hundred dollars in CASH,called henry with issue of breaker being tripped with this last weather in san martin,ca. was told 125.00 for emergency service call, not fair if you ask me. work should be guarantee for price. i am disabled veteran with mobility issues so i need power that i can depend on. so in all fairness henry should of came by looked at breakers and panel, another provider came and added one breaker to panel saying the breaker was over loaded. SO PEOPLE BEWARE

Have had several jobs done by Henry's team - they are RELIABLE, which in my area, is critical. Henry installed 5 light fixtures on this trip, including managing to reach a vaulted ceiling over our stairs. I thought we would be paying for scaffolding, but he figured out a safe way to reach it. He is a local small business owner with great ""people"" skills and extensive problem solving experience. He also came in under my own estimate. I am absolutely convinced that he does quality work and knows what he is doing; where I struggle is his pricing. I have to say that it is only I who is to blame here since I accepted the price proposal, but when he completed the job in less than 40min which he quoted to me for $350.-, I did struggle to find his pricing reasonable ...

Had my power out due to a car hitting my electrical poll. Tuesday after Memorial Day, could not get any electrician on the phone but them. They wanted $120 to come and look at it since it was an emergency call. Bad start, but I wanted my power back so I went with it. Henry came after 20 minutes and went right to work. Got the parts, went to the county to start the permit, and had a new replacement 200A cabinet installed by that evening. Kept following up with the inspector and pg&e and got the power back the next day. Great work, great following up with all the agencies and all for a very competative price. Mean time, my nighbour who used a different electrcian still don't have power 3 days later.

Because I bought an in-home sauna that required a dedicated circuit, I checked on Yelp for an electrician with great reviews and CP&L arrived within a few days during a busy holiday schedule for all involved. When Henry's team arrived at the appointed time, we discussed the dedicated circuit and upgrading our 40+ year old panel AND the possibility of not upgrading our panel saving us a few thousand dollars, In the end, it was our choice and we decided to upgrade with the idea that we would add electrical to the backyard project that may not happen in my life time. Yes, the electrical project cost more than the sauna, but it was in my mind, a pay now or pay later situation.

After the estimate of a panel upgrade, permit, stucco repair, and dedicated circuit, I decided to contract with CP&L and paid the 10% deposit. After the estimating team left, Henry called to schedule the job a week out which gave me time to assemble the sauna and clear the space for it and apply for a new credit card which would give me much needed miles/points.

Before the job, Henry notified me that my power would be out for the day and that his team would need access to the crawl space which was no problem. I have been down this road before.

Although it took a week for the inspector to come out to give the stamp of approval, I was able to use the sauna as soon as the electrical work was done which took less than a day. The CP&L team was professional, courteous, and conscientious. Above all, Henry was gracious and patient in waiting for my new credit card to arrive! Thank you. I am extremely happy with the work.

This is the second time I have called Henry to do a job. The first time, he installed an overhead light over my sink. It was a complicated job because of previous wiring and a cramped location. He did a wonderful job for a fair price. Today, I called to have a burnt circuit breaker replaced for my dryer. Henry was here within an hour, replaced the circuit breaker in not time at all for a fair price. Could not ask for better service.
