If you need electrical work done, you should use this company. Henry and his crew are responsive, professional and very detail oriented. They installed a hard to reach fixture for us, as well as installing some recessed lighting and grounded plug.

We had a snafu when the fixture we bought turned out to be defective, but we got a replacement, and the crew was back as soon as it came in. Communication was easy.

I'm EXTREMELY happy with their work and recommend them highly.

They know how to work with both the city government and PG&E and their work is excellent. I have also used them for re-wiring a home as well, with great results. Henry, the owner is professional and extremely efficient in getting the job done and his team are all good, qualified people. His pricing is fair and they do very clean and tidy work. You cannot go wrong with California Power and Light!

I have used this company in the past and was really happy with the straightforward way they deal with their customers. I received a return call very shortly after my initial call and I got an appointment for the following week.
The fans I had needed to be installed in rooms with 17' cathedral ceilings, so they had to run power to both places.
They did and excellent job in both locations, no unnecessary damage or mess. The rooms were carefully protected with plastic wrap.
The work was done quickly and efficiently and the fans work beautifully!

I can't say enough how amazing Henry and his team are. We had to have our whole electrical panel replaced because breakers were popping then there was some arching. When we called, Henry answered the phone and was amazing. Knowing it was an emergency he was on top of everything right away. He contacted PG&E, got all the permits. He and his team showed up exactly when he said the would. He has a great team of guys, they are all professional and friendly. We have more work to be done and we are so happy that we found an electrician that we will call for all our future needs.

I am so happy to have found California Power and Light! I wasted at least two months looking for someone to repair/replace a bathroom fan. I scoured Yelp and decided to submit an online request to California Power and Light. Henry quickly contacted me and we scheduled the work a few days later as it wasn't an emergency. With his many contacts, he found a way to repair the fan, which saved me hundreds of dollars. At the same time, I needed a new outlet installed for a new range, which his team handled efficiently and professionally as well. I am extremely pleased with their responsiveness, professionalism, and the pride they take in doing a good job and doing what they can to help the customer. These guys are absolutely amazing. They made an initial visit to assess the problem and then squeezed us in to find and do the repair. They were in and out in just over 40 minutes. On the initial visit the possible bad receptacles were marked so they came in and checked until they found the problem which involved putting in a new outlet. Easy peasy.

Woke up to a blown breaker. I took the day off from work to deal with it. Called a few places. Some said they couldn't make a visit for days or even weeks. California Power & Light said they could be at my door at noon the same day. Showed up right on time. Doug and his partner were courteous and professional. I have a complicated lighting setup with a few dozen lights and switches and a couple power transformers. They troubleshot the problem to one of the transformers and had the lights on in under 90 minutes. Put everything back together and even swept the floor. Will definitely use them again.

I called California Power and Light over the weekend with an emergency situation, we had a breaker that was repeatedly tripping and we couldn't figure out why. It was urgent because my wife and I have 18 month old twins and their room just happened to be on this breaker, which meant no night light and no white noise machine for them, which means they had trouble sleeping and so did we! Henry came over personally on a Saturday to troubleshoot the situation, he was upfront on fees and charges and advised us to wait and see if it happened again, no pressure to spend money we didn't need to, no hard sell. He answered the call himself and came when he said he would, he left his card and asked us to call him if it happened again, which it did, the next day. So I texted Henry on a Sunday morning and he said he would have someone out to our house between 1-2 that afternoon. Sure enough, an electrician was here, prompt, courteous, and professional. He replaced two breakers for us and stayed to ensure everything was working. This company is prompt, friendly, local, they know their stuff and their rates are reasonable. I'm sure we'll have electrical needs in the future, we have an older home and it will need upgrades, California Power and Light will be at the top of my list to call. Henry is focused on quality and customer service and he answers the phone on off hours when most folks will send you to voicemail. Call him and give him your business if you need an electrician, you won't be disappointed!
