We found Calvin from Cali Communications & Wiring after we were terrorized by a neighborhood bully who was vandalizing our property following an assault and vehicle damage.
We always wanted a video surveillance system protecting our home and this was the catalyst that moved this task to the top of our list.
After a quick search on Yelp, I found his father's business at the top of the search and called.
He stated he was directing work like ours to his son and gave me Calvin's number.
As soon as I shared my problem with Calvin, he called me back with an emergency solution to get the cameras up and running that very night!
He arrived at 6pm and by 9pm he had four cameras installed and protecting us with views that allowed us some sleep and assurance that we would catch this punk.
The cameras did their job, he was caught, arrested, and has not been back in four months.
(Of course our SF DA did nothing with the overwhelming evidence and dropped the case!)
Fast forward to today and our home was finally painted and we wanted additional cameras installed.
He and his assistant Andre worked tirelessly to run some upgraded, better wiring along with a cleaner way he tucked away the strands from view.
He blames his OCD for wanting to get it right!
HE GOT IT RIGHT!

Never showed up for a scheduled appointment a week in advance, also did not call to inform he could not make it. Scheduled a second appointment, the same thing! No show, no call. Very bad business practice.

Calvin installed an intercom system at my condo in the inner Mission last October. Calvin and team were the ONLY bright spot in an otherwise seriously f-ed up situation.

They calmly dealt with every issue with positivity and understanding and then immediately offered solutions.

Reached out to get a quote, someone emailed me back setting up a date and time for them to come by, I replied saying that works great, and then no one ever showed up nor replied back.
