Jerry is the real deal. Our original reason to go with him was we needed a lot of little electrical AND plumbing jobs, and we figured we could a little money on labor. The number of little jobs equaled enough of a big job and we needed it : new lighting in almost every room, fixing broken electrical outlets, moving a gas pipe that had made the stove a hassle to deal with, replacing a leaking sink, and a leaky toilet. And an elusive leak. During the holidays. He quoted a price, and it was close to our budget, so we were hoping for not-a-lot of mishaps.

We got recessed lighting throughout the dining room and kitchen, two rear speakers in, new vanities in the bathrooms, he powered through the lighting and electrical, even things I didn't notice until pointed out, mostly in a day (a two man job). Then the problems set in: rusted pipes, a small clearance for a toilet (banjo countertop). And he powered through that and the gas pipe.

And then just as he was finishing, Jerry found the leak, from a busted water heater. This is where a new homeowner would just lose it, but Jerry actually went into action and walked us through all the steps from what could have been a project out of control into a well managed upgrade and fix throughout.

Not only that, he's a great guy to talk to, even when we newbie homeowners are getting worried and concerned (or plain nosy), and his quote was on the dot (no hidden gotchas, even with the leak). He replied to all our questions and concerns, no matter what.

By the time we were done, we already were discussing future projects. And when they come, Jerry is the one to call. It pays to work with a professional. Thanks!

I have used CalGreen on multiple occasions for our company and the jobs have consisted of running a new set of Cat5e cables to a patch panel (which they also installed), replacing Cat3 cables which were poorly put in place by a previous contractor years ago with Cat5e, and most recently, running an underground conduit to our building and into our phone room in order to draw fiber into the building. Jerry and his crew have always gone above and beyond and so far have completed all the projects ahead of schedule. They arrive on site before most people get in and are one of the last to leave. Based on my experience with Jerry and CalGreen, customer service and quality are of the utmost importance. We will continue to use CalGreen for our future projects, in fact we have another one schedule for beginning of 2015. I would not hesitate to recommend CalGreen to anyone in need of any of the services they provide.

Almost forgot to mention: It is standard practice for us to obtain multiple quotes for each project and Jerry always beats the competition.

Deeply disappointed. Poor quality work. There were multiple problems in the last stages of the bath remodel. Supposedly another contractor made the small bathroom dirty through the very small window in the bath. Ironically, there was no dirt was on the outside of the window and this was the same day the exhaust fan in the bath was installed and I heard a loud crash from the bathroom that day. When I went to the bath, there was dirt everywhere floor, tub, bath - but nothing outside the window which is where the contractor said the dirt came from. Shouldn't the contractor be responsible for protecting their work space (how hard is it to shut the window?). I was told they would clean the floor, shower fixtures and new bathtub. They did this by using Goof Off so my new vinyl floor is now discolored, the new shower fixture is now discolored and the new bathtub was covered in a gritty film. My husband was fed up when the work was not completed after 2 days of requests so we decided to clean the tub ourselves. When cleaning, we discovered 3 HOLES IN OUR NEW TUB and the seal around the tub was NOT even caulked. If this is what is happening on the outside of the walls, what is happening with behind the walls?

We are first time homeowners and were looking for an electrician to install recessed lights in our house. After getting quotes from a number of electricians from Angie's list and elsewhere, we finally came upon Jerry. He have us the lowest quote but the main reason we decided to go with him is this: Jerry has the most polite and professional demeanor which put us to ease that he will not try to rip us off. He was very patient, the work he did was excellent and very importantly he got the exact light temperature and specifications I wanted. He always responded to my queries in a timely fashion. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a honest and capable electrician.

I LOVE this company and Jerry, the owner, is just great! He kept his word, gave me a great price, and worked efficiently and was in communication with me the entire time with regard to placement of lights, etc.
Had work done at my moms bathroom and he couldn't have been more fantastic! Jerry, single handedly, installed two 4"" recessed LEDs, a new fan vent, added a new box to a wall, installed a GFI, and new switches, moved the hot and cold pipes for a new sink, all by himself and quite contently. His workers were all busy so he came to do the work himself.
I have to tell you, he even used our vacuum to vacuum our hallway. His was out of commission for the day but was awesome that after all that work...he was man enough to use our vacuum!! LOL!!
Great job, all in all, and I would definitely use him for his honesty in price, workmanship, reliability, communication, and just and all round nice man.

We just had a problem with a bad breaker which wasn't sending sufficient power to our a/c. I called Calgreen and spoke with Jerry who promised to come out within a couple of hours. He arrived on schedule, was personable, funny, thoroughly professional, reasonable and quick. I have absolutely no problem recommending him whatsoever. A terrific electrician who really seems to care about his customers. I will definitely use him again if the opportunity arises.

This is my first yelp review after years of reading reviews so you know Jerry was 5 star worthy. He showed up when promised (within an hour of my call) and got right to work. He was quick, clean, and efficient. He answered all my questions and had a fair price for the small project I asked him to work on.

He went ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations.

When he was finished with the initial project I asked him to work on a couple of extra light switches that we hadn't spoken about prior. He said it would be no problem and got right to work. Having had a lot of experience dealing with tradesmen I can say that Jerry is top rate and will be my go-to electrician (and plumber) moving forward.

Jerry the Electrician came to the Pharmacy and fixed our commercial lights...He is very personable and honest he will tell you exactly what needs to be done and will provide you with several options and let you decide whats best for your current situation. While he was here he also noticed that we had a leaky toilet and since He is a Plumber too he fixed it. ""Two birds with one stone"" Amazing!! we loved him and will keep him as our family Electrician/Plumber. He is also very knowledgeable about Construction in general and will offer great advice as to how to proceed if your working on a project. Very Affordable and Friendly/Honest...a hard to find combination these days.
