Founded by Justin K., CAL TEC Electrical Systems is a Concord-based group of expert, certified and experienced electricians who support the Tri-County area of Contra Costa, Alameda County and Solano area. We also hold comprehensive understanding of electrical work, problem resolution and fixes, but we also bring two decades of code knowledge that differentiates us from other contractors and tradespeople who just want to earn fast money. It is this commitment, proficiency and insight that establishes us as the specialists in our field. Our team members take the time to understand your concerns, even if you don't fully understand them yourself, and we collaborate with all of our patrons to create solutions that are durable and perform better at a price you can afford.

I come from a family with three generations of tradesmen. My grandfather was a naval electrician during WWII and also worked as a builder. My dad is a ex-building inspector with 30-plus years of work and is currently a builder. Two uncles of mine and a cousin are also licensed electricians in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (with my uncles being former). On top of that, I have an uncle who does electrical services for military bases. I developed an interest in the world of electricity during my high school years, where I completed three years of electronics. Following graduation, I worked in the Pac Bell facilities around the Bay Area region for a short time before I enrolled in the IBEW. In the year 2006, I chose to branch out.
