Founded by Justin K., CAL TEC Electrical Systems is a Concord-located crew of expert, licensed and experienced electricians who assist the Tri-County region of Contra Costa area, Alameda and Solano area. Not only do we possess extensive knowledge of electrical setups, troubleshooting and maintenance, but we also bring twenty years of regulatory knowledge that distinguishes us from other contractors and tradespeople who just want to profit quickly. I belong to a third-generation tradesmen. My ancestor was a naval electrician during WWII and also worked as a builder. My father is a ex-building inspector with more than three decades of work and is currently a builder. Two of my uncles and one of my cousins are also professionals in electrical work in the I.B.E.W. (with my uncles being retired). Moreover, I have an uncle who does electrical services for military bases. I developed an interest in the electrical industry during my high school years, where I took courses in electronics. Following graduation, I worked in the Pac Bell facilities around the Bay Area region for a short time before I enrolled in the IBEW. Back in 2006, I chose to go out on my own.
