Juan Lucas of Cal-Com Electric is terrific! He put all new LED lights throughout our home and garage as well as configured various electrical outlets. He also installed ceiling fans in two rooms. we are having him back to do some work in our 2nd home because he is reliable, competent and has great follow through.

TL;DR: Contacted Bob for a simple electrical job after he had done one task reasonably satisfactorily years ago, 2nd experience was so awful, I'll never consider him again for future electrical.

So the first project I had Bob do was installing ceiling fans in all my bedrooms. Ok work, some concerning buzzing sounds when activating switches, but nothing too terrible.

Second job just recently had done, got a new oven, and the way the old wiring was, there was no outlet behind it, just a direct electrical line. Needed it done quick, they were able to get out same day to work on it. Good so far. Bang out the outlet in 15 minutes, which was concerningly fast, but maybe the guys are just good, right? It was around 250 I believe for that short period of time.

There was some adjustments that need to be made to the counter top, so we couldn't get the oven all the way against the wall, but when I finally do, I discovered that the electricians didn't measure for the oven and where the outlet will need to be placed with respect to making it flush against the wall (it was about an inch too high, meaning the oven would stick out away from the wall).

So I have to call Bob to get the team to come back and fix their error, for which I was charged another 200 dollars. 200 to fix their mistake! When I called Bob and asked him to meet me at least half way on price (which I considered extremely generous, considering their mistake), he was extremely rude and dismissive. Lectured me on how that was cheap and that I was lucky to have them come out for that price to fix their screw up.

Safe to say I'll never be using their services again. Recommend no one do either.

Bob and his guys were great. Found him through home advisor. I had done a lot of research and called a lot of places and some wouldn't even take on new projects. I schedule work with Bob and he called me a day earlier asking if that day was good so they came right on over. Did my project and another improptu and it came out so reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again.
