Established in 1988, Cajun Comfort, Inc. began in the garage and dining room of Keith and Melissa L'Hoste. Now, almost 30 years later, we operate from a 17,000 square foot building on Airline Highway, providing comprehensive electrical, air conditioning, generator services, and a full fabrication shop for our community.

Trip O.The quoted price of a new unit increased $21,410.00 in 10 months. In August of 2021, we called Cajun Comfort to come out and give us a quote on replacing our P-TAC unit. While they were out, we asked them to service the unit, which they did. The unit has worked fine until now, June of 2022. It has recently been giving us problems, so we called and asked them to come out again and service the unit, which they did. The repair only lasted a few weeks but being an older unit, we called and asked them to give us an updated quote to replace. The first quote from 8/2021 was $1,690.00, and 10 months later the new quote was for $23,100.00. When I called them, their response was that they needed to send out two guys to do the job and that they needed to make money. They also told me that all prices have gone up.
Vicky H.One star is the lowest I can give it. Called because our air conditioning unit had a leak and wasn't working. They sent out a technician who charged us $94 to tell us what we already knew. He said a salesman would get back to us with our options within the next few days. We called after 3 days and were told they would get back to us the next day. That was 2 weeks ago and we're still waiting. In the meantime, we called St. Pierre's and within 24 hours they had a new unit installed. Don't expect fast service from these guys!
Dolores F.I've been using Cajun Comfort since 2010 when they installed my new A/C system. They did a great job then, and all the years since! I'm on a yearly contract for service in spring and fall. They come twice a year and are always nice an efficient workers. Louis just came today to service my system, and he is respectful and kind. He will answer any question you have and always says to call them if I have any problems. Only once since 2010 have I called for a minor issue and they came right out to check! Definitely recommend to others.

Mahesh C.Quick services but ripoff prices. They charged me over $240 to replace a $10 capacitor in 25 minutes.
I will consider changing my profession if this is really the going rate for the Air Conditioner repair technician.
