Fantastic experience with CA electric and Kfir! We did a project through Yelp and contacted multiple businesses, we had over 8 responses, 5 quotes and 4 on-site visits. We both felt most comfortable with our electrician Kfir and confident in his ability. (Full disclosure here, my dad is a recently retired electrician but currently a trainer for electrical safety at our main electrical company serving Northern California so I validated my quotes and experiences with him before choosing who to hire). Kfir was very pleasant to work with, answered all my queries professionally and promptly and was quick to relay knowledge on the work without it feeling condescending.

To note on the work quoted and performed: all garage electrical with 3 new outlets, conversion of a single light bulb to 4 led panels, a 220 car charger and electrical for a gas tankless water heater outdoors. Because of all this work, we also had to upgrade our sub panel. Out of all the companies we worked with, we already knew this was needed but he was the only one to call it out and not try to overload our main panel which had a slot but not sufficient utility amp and one of the reasons we felt confident in his abilities and long term consequences of not sizing load correctly. When we asked for fire rated materials according to code (since our bedroom is above the garage) it seemed it was forgone conclusion which also made us feel safe on our choice.

The work was done on time (within a day) according to schedule, and with care for the mess that inevitably came into our home. The new panel was installed, labeled and tested.

I'm really happy with the work done and will do work with Kfir in the future. It's always great to have an electrician to recommend as well!

I had this company installed a EV charger, scheduling was very quick and the work was done within a few hours. It was during the payment processing that things got so bad that I had to take a time off from work to deal with bank issues. Apparently the check was deposited twice to my account, long story short, this company is willing to cover the overpayments made by the bank, you don't see that kind of commitment anywhere but CA Electrical Group is going above and beyond to help me get back financially. Yes theres still this stigma of overpayment that caused a lot of headaches, time lost at work and schedules disrupted. I only hear about this from other people and when it happens to you, its nothing to be laughed at.
Given that the bank has already started the investigation why overpayments on two identical checks was processed it will still take 7 to 10 business days to determine the why, the who and the what caused this to happen.
I despise how banks are slow to process claims whether its a credit card dispute or checking issue, but today i take back those assumptions back when my Bank credited the overpayment back to my account, while they continue to investigate this incident.
I admire their commitment to service and quality moving from 3 stars to 4. 02.03.2033@3:56 pm.

UPDATE:
I wrote a scathing and honest review about my interactions with these people. They tried to talk me into $5k+ of work for what turned out to be a $300 bad switch. They insisted that the work I had had done by a licensed electrician a few years ago was ""dangerous.""

But now the issue is not their work, but how they responded to my negative review.

FIRST: Omri called and left a long, long message saying they were going to take ""legal steps"" to get my review removed.

AFTER I edited my review to remove details, TWO MEN SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE. When I didn't answer the door (because I didn't recognize them), they left a letter once again THREATENING ""legal measures.""

They have my address and phone number, obviously, so they could have mailed the letter. They did not need to send *2* men to my house -- to intimidate me?

we had an issue with parts of our house losing power and tripping the circuit breaker. Technician Omri responded in very short time and was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. He offered a temporary fix free of charge and made us a recommendation for how to proceed for a permanent resolution. A+ Service.

Omri came in clutch helping us reset our fuse at a time when there was a long wait for other electricians. Because it was a easy fix he refused to charge us. Appreciate the speed of service and his pointers to help us prevent the issue. We'll definitely use CA Electrical Group in the future.

We had a no power night as a result of some electric maintenance my husband was doing on a Sunday evening. I called CA Electric group and they came in next day, helped us turning back the power, and did a root cause investigation, and turned out our panel is faulty. They are the best, totally recommended.

Guy came to my house un screwed face plate screwed it back on out of line. He touched something and sparks started to fly, left ceiling fixtures hanging. Asked for and took $245 for no work completed(he was in a hurry to get to L.A. for the weekend) I had to ask for refund minus $75 visit fee.They never offered to return and complete the job and re attach fixtures to ceiling(they're still hanging). This company did not offer to complete the project. I would not recommend this company. Where can I find a full service, state certified and licensed electrician in Oakland with some design experience.............

Our dryer stopped working all of a sudden, so we had to hang our clothes to dry in the backyard (like the good ol' days) I've had just about enough with the hanging clothes outside ordeal, and cause the sun barely was coming out from behind the clouds (Daly City weather ?) that I did some research and stumbled upon CA Electrical Group 24/7. I got a call back and was able to get a free consultation the same day of the call back. Knock on the door and I greet Omri, I tell him what's going on and within 3-4 mins he found the problem. I was lucky cause the part that needed to be replaced he had one hanging out in his truck. Soon as he replaced the breaker in the electric box, he went to my laundry area and the sound of my dryer turning on was music to my ears! I'm glad I found this company and Omri and his team are lifesavers for this mama and her loads of laundry! Highly recommend and we definitely will be keeping in touch!

CA Electrical Service did an exceptional job for us. We had an emergency electrical issue, and they came within an hour to assess the damage, and then provided a back up generator, a bid and then with in 24 hours had all the permits and permissions to install a new panel. The job was done expertly and efficiently. We worke with Omri who was professional, reassuring and then came through with the goods!
