I highly recommend c. Woods. We had them come out to fix our a/c and they went above and beyond to make sure they got us fixed up right. Aaron came out and even stuck around longer than he had to just make sure we were taken care of. It's hard to find good quality service anymore and this company broke the mold for setting the standard! My wife and I want to thank yall so much for taking such good care of us!!

In my opinion, these folks are either dishonest or incompetent. We have 3 units at our house. Called them out Friday the 11th b/c the upstairs was not cooling. The other units were working fine. Spent $1,700 on refrigerant for that unit and for ""maintenance"" on the other two units that they suggested. Sunday morning, less than 48 hours later, one of the downstairs units quit working. Called them and they came back out and reported that the compressor on one of the downstairs units was now out, not repairable, and needed to be replaced. Would be looking at 10k plus job to replace everything. Had another guy come out. Found out that a piece called a Hard Start Kit that was previously installed had obviously, on his inspection, burnt out. These are less than $100 parts. He installed a new one, and the compressor is now running fine. It's 72 degrees. When I called to tell C Woods about it, had no good explanation. Again, either because they are utterly incompetent and didn't know to replace the Hard Start Kit, or because they are dishonest, they were going to have me put in an entire new unit. Never again.

Just began service with C. Woods Company. So far, so good. I called and scheduled a regular service for my air conditioning unit. The company responded promptly and the person on the phone recommended they also look at my heater.

The day before the appointment I got a text message asking me to confirm, and the day of the appointment I got another text message telling me who would be arriving at my door.

The bad news, for me, was that the heating unit for this house needed some work. The price was, perhaps, a bit on the high side, but this is not an area where I am trying to penny pinch. I find C. Woods to be prompt, reliable, professional and quick to diagnose and fix the problem.

Had them out to our home to install 2 new toilets, a kitchen faucet (all of which I supplied) and a safety valve on my water heater, $1500+ later which is by their own admission was about 30% higher than others..Had to have both toilet flanges replaced at more expense even though it was their mistake and one toilet now is loose and rocking around again. Call someone else that can do the work right and doesn't have to charge high prices to pay for the fancy trucks they drive

This company way overcharges for services.. We need a new central air system soon and they quoted us about $9,000 for that. We've had 1 other company come out for a quote since and they gave us a quote for $6,000.

Called them out to install a new Electric Water Heater that I provided on site. Easy access in the Garage open closet. They quoted me $875 to install. I asked how long will it take? Answer 2 hours. So they were charging $ 435 per hour! I think not! Told them to leave immediately. Called another plumber and job done for $300. Overpriced!

They broke my sink the. Told me ""it can't be fixed, you gotta buy a new one."" I had a friend come over he fixed it. They installed my A/C unit and the fan was wired wrong it was blowing backwards. The guy was watching YouTube videos to figure out how to install. I will never use them again. They may have people licensed, but that is not who will come to your house.

Initially, I reported a positive experience. From scheduling to Jason's prompt service call and professional demeanor. He identified the problem quickly and the part was ordered.

Issue: The Repair Estimate

Beware part price mark up! Disclaimer: I attempted to reach the owner to discuss before leaving this updated review. In fact, I was chatting via yelp with Chad W: Owner, but it turns out he's the Marketing Director.

Chad stated that he didn't handle that end of the business (part pricing/ordering) and that I'd have to call the office.

In response, I spoke to a Jessie who said she would have the actual owner contact me. Another female employee (not the owner) called me to inform me the part was in and inquired as to setting up the next service call. I explained that I first wanted to obtain the actual part number and price, as I felt the repair estimate was exceptionally high.

Several minutes later a Mark called me and asked me if I wanted to set up the service call, or not. I asked if he was the owner. He said he was the General Manager. I shared my experience and concern regarding part price mark up. He held the position that $337.78 was competitive for a Hot Surface Ignition Glow Bar repair. I declined.
