Carlos is a wonderful professional and we highly recommend his services to anyone who needs electrical expertise on their home projects. Came on time, friendly, courteous but most important, his work ethic and honesty comes through. Aside from fixing our original request to troubleshoot a GFI outlet issue, he also had enough time to fix a switch and another outlet without charging more for the additional work. We found our new electrician! I typically get competing quotes for any house project. Our project entailed replacing garage lighting into modern fixtures, replacing three interior lighting fixtures, and re-routing a switch in our bedroom to turn on the new lighting fixture. This is a good amount of work, but isn't a $3-4k project like some other companies quoted.

Carlos had the best quote by far, but also actually listened to what I was looking for and gave suggestions. His pricing is fair, is a really chill person that wanted me to be happy with his work, and I will go to him if we are ever needing any other electrical work done.

They were amazing I called last night to have someone come out and fix my power that was out in a couple of rooms they called bright and early at 7 to be out here between 12-2 and were early and took care of the problem quickly and were very friendly and professional. We were looking to add additional lights to our commercial warehouse and we had several different companies come out to give us bids. Carlos was by far the lowest bid and the most responsive when it came to questions and scheduling the work to be completed.

Day of install Carlos arrived right on time and ready to work. His team worked diligently throughout the day to complete the project without interrupting our regular warehouse work. They were clean and communicated efficiently regarding any questions or special requests we had.

Overall it was a great experience and the project turned out even better than we were expecting. I will be keeping C. Bates Electric in mind for any other upcoming projects we have. Highly recommend!

Carlos and Carmonie came by yesterday to work their electrician's magic on a relatively small problem involving a couple of electrical outlets. Just listening to them talking as they worked I immediately understood that Carlos, the senior electrician and business owner, has a wealth of experience in the field. This was quickly demonstrated to me through his impressive diagnostic skills. And both men were very personable, easy to talk to, and explained exactly what they were doing in a way that I sincerely appreciated as someone without their knowledge of electrical matters.

Carlos and Carmonie diagnosed the problems within minutes and left my home in much better shape electrically than it was when they walked in. C. Bates Electric has now become my ""go-to"" for any subsequent electrical repairs.

After purchasing a Tesla, we began the process of trying to find a contractor to install a 240 V receptacle for our portable charger. We received bids and quotes across the spectrum, the most expensive being $2,700.

C. Bates Electric did an outstanding job! They were responsive to my request for a bid and remained responsive throughout the process. Carmani (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly) a former Marine, was the electrician who installed the outlet. He was on time, in fact he was about 15 minutes early. He explained the process, told me how long it would take, and got to work. The job site was clean, the installation was clean, and the charger works. I highly recommend their service and will be using them for any future needs around our home.
