BW was assigned by my warranty company, before they could arrive, storm hit and all electric was knocked out. I texted them and notified them of such (Tuesday). Wednesday, I tried to call and cancel appt and no answer, then I texted number and said we needed to reschedule. Thursday at 8:20 I received a message saying technician was in route, which is when we were scheduled. I called back to same number and got vm. Then I called main number and finally got a live person. I explained that I had been trying to reach them and she said they were closed yesterday, I asked why? she told me (she didn't have to tell me why). I asked, isn't there an on-call center or message center. She indicated that she was ""the office"" and could do as she wanted. I don't believe I have encountered such a rude person that is in a customer service position. I told her I would be seeking a different company for my electrical services. Based on the other reviews online, I got lucky. If you have a choice, do not use this company. I have already recommended to my warranty company to drop them or at least never to send them to me.

Sent out by AHS home warranty, finally. For 2 days I called them once they were assigned to me. Both days, no answer and unable to leave a voice mail because their answering machine was full. I called AHS to complain and a few hours later, BW Electric called to make the appt. The appt was pushed out a week. When they came, the man was rude and reluctant to do what needed to be done, a bathroom exhaust fan motor change out. He, at first, said there was nothing wrong with it and that is what they sound like. I had him listen to my other 2 fans that didn't sound like that. Then he said that since it was still working, changing out because of sound was now something that is done. He eventually changed out the motor, left the old motor for me to dispose of, left a dusty mess on my bathroom floor that I had to sweep up, and hit many walls with his ladder on the way out. He was rude and argumentative. When you have a home warranty and use it, this is the quality of contractor you get. Happens a lot. Sad but true.

Took off work to meet this company within their window. They canceled due to road conditions during bad weather. I agreed but wanted them to reschedule for after 5 or the weekend, so that I would not have to take off work again. The girl refused. I asked to speak to the manager or owner. She refused and hung up on me. This is through a warranty company, so I am stuck. Do NOT use this company. They do not care about your time or inconveniencing you.

We lost power in the living room, lights in the dinning room, kitchen, and patio. Filed a claim with our warranty company and they came out that same week. Breco was in and out in about 20 minutes. Unfortunately, about an hour later the power went again. So of course, I called them right back. He was able to come back a couple days later and fixed the issue. Haven't had a problem since. He was very nice and professional. I would definitely use BW again and recommend them. Also, the dispatcher I spoke with was nice too...Unfortunately I didn't catch her name.

Our A/Cs were out and some other miscellaneous items around the house. We had an A/C company out and they said we needed to call an electrician and that he smelled something burning. BW came out quickly, found the source very quickly, worked with Oncor, and had us up and running in no time and at a very reasonable price. BW explained everything thoroughly, was very friendly, and was very patient with us. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

What others have said about him collecting the fee and not coming back is true. He was hired for us by Choice Warranty. Rico didn't talk, only as little as possible. Very unfriendly. He sent us an invoice with the charge for our issue, he didn't advise us it needed signed, we didn't notice a signature box anywhere. We believe he sent this ""signature required"" text message so that he wouldn't have to come back. It seems by the reviews that once in awhile he will work and fix someone's issue to make a good review on here and make it look good, but honestly makes a living collecting the fees from the home warranty companies. They should all drop him but they probably won't. He wouldn't be able to do easy work with 85$ fees or whatever fees and walk away with about $900 or more a day doing nothing if he was on his own. (By my calculations of his saying he had 9 customers). Don't use this company if you don't want total frustration, not only did he make us feel very uncomfortable and didn't do anything. If your warranty company assigns him ask for someone else. It's Russian Roulette to whether your issue will be fixed.

My home warranty company (Choice Home Warranty) dispatched BW Electric Inc out to me 48 hours after I filled the claim. My time window was 1:30 - 5:30 and he arrived at the beginning of the time window which was convenient. The florescent bathroom light fixture had a failing ballast, humming noise, and broken socket so it was flickering and taking a while to turn on to full light power. The electrician, Laurence, replaced the broken socket and swapped the florescent lights for LED ones as they do not use a ballast to bypass the issue. While the humming noise remained as the ballast was not replaced since the LED lights don't require it to operate, the noise was a lot lower when the florescent lights were swapped out for LED ones. He was in and out in 30 minutes, explained the issue / solution to me, and my light fixture works again!

Yet again, they were sent out by my home warranty company. Tried to explain the issue over the phone, was told it ""wouldn't be a problem"" as soon as they walked in, our issue wasn't ""covered under warranty"". Had a feeling from the phone call to schedule the service that it was not going to go as planned. I paid the $75 service fee and had another reputable electric company fix my light switch in 20 minutes for $100.

Don't waste your money on a home warranty! I eat the money and pay a reputable complaint to come fix the issue the right way!

My home warranty company sent this company to my home. I met the electrician in my from yard by saying good morning when he arrived.....he never said hello or acknowledged me in any way. Then he did not have time to replace my ceiling fans because and I quote, ""he had 9 customers on his schedule all waiting for him"". Like I was not on the schedule as his first stop. He was rude from the time he arrived until I finally told him to leave.
