Brian solved a problem we had in our 70-year-old Mountain View house - lights were blinking and sometimes cycling on and off. Some of the wiring is original, and some was added-on in the '70s or '80s, with obsolete Zinsco breakers and panels. I had replaced a breaker and opened up wall boxes and light connections to try to fix it - no luck. Brian troubleshot the problem and isolated it to 1) the breaker I had replaced was no good 2) some downstream breakers in a sub-panel were also no good. Brian was very patient, and did not get frustrated when things didn't work right away, but kept after it until the problem was resolved. Thanks much for excellent work, Brian.

Brian was recommended by a friend, and we are very happy to have had his help with the installation of a ceiling fan for our toddler's bedroom. His quote was very reasonable (a quote from another electrician was ~30% more - and enough to make me procrastinate about it for almost 6 months.) This is the second time Bryan has helped out our family. The first time our daughter called him to help out her grandmother's electricial issue last year. I've used Brian on upgrading my electrical to 220, replacing an electric panel, installing GFI's, upgrading bathroom electrical with motion sensors, and installing a new baseboard heater. He is easy to work work, reasonably priced, and always does what he says. I highly recommend BW Electric.

I called them up on the Monday of memorial day weekend asking when they could have someone out for a ceiling fan instillation after giving me an estimate I asked is it possible to be done today he said no earliest they could it is Thursday I thanked him and as i was about to hang up he called me a ""dickhead"" definitely will not be using him.

Called Brian for a weird gizmo at my house (circuit breaker issues). He called me that night to schedule an appointment. He was very professional: at the time of the appointment, he called a few minutes ahead and came at exactly the time he said he would.
When he came in, he quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it.

I hired Brian solely on the Yelp recommendations. They are all right on. Brian is a nice guy, very responsive and reliable (something not usually found in tradesmen.) He will call you back and he will show up.

We had him install 10 recessed lights and a ceiling in a lofted upstairs bedroom that had no crawl space; consequently, he and his partner had to do this work from the outside while we were having the roof repaired. Brian worked with the roofers -- who tore off that section of the roof so that he and his partner could install the lights from above and not tear up our ceiling fishing wires across the room. They did a great job -- the lights are perfectly aligned, they didn't tear up the ceiling to do it, and Brian and Jeff left the room cleaner than they found it.

I would hire Brian again in a heartbeat.
