BV Electric saved our house from a potential disaster! We were having power surges and had to call PG&E. They came out and told us that we had what they called a ""worst case scenario."" The weather head had become useless and the wiring was burned. They told us we were lucky our house didn't go up in flames! I called my regular electrician but he was out of town - lucky for us, because he told me to give BV Electric a call. Miro came out right away, saw what the problem was and said they would get on it right away! He and his crew came out the very next morning bright and early and worked all day until they got the problem under control! By the afternoon our power was restored and everything felt a lot safer to us!! Miro is a very nice person and his crew is just as nice. We definitely have a new electrical company to call from now on!! If you are in need of any electrical work, they are reasonable and they want to accommodate you! Give them a call!!

I called BV electrics saturday afternoon because my doorbell stopped working. They were able to schedule an appoint Monday afternoon. I asked if an early appointment became to please call. 45 min before my scheduled appoint Rigo called me and said he could come early and would be at my apartment in 20 min. He was very friendly, fast and efficient and best of all I have a working doorbell now.

Had a great experience with BV Electric when I needed to get a flourescent light fixture in the kitchen fixed. Called in the morning and quickly got someone on the phone to make an appointment.

A guy showed up as expected and examined the faulty fixture to confirm it needed a new ballast. He had one in his truck and was able to replace the old one and get things working again without a hitch.

He was even nice enough to agree to take off his shoes before coming in the house when we asked.

These guys made an appointment to meet me at home at 3 pm. I leave work early to meet them. No one shows up. They call at 3:45 saying that they can be there at 6 pm! I didn't make an appointment at a certain time to sit around for three hours waiting for them. Don't have your time wasted too.

Miro and his crew did a great job re-wiring my old victorian flat. They even came back months later after the painting was done to make sure all the light fixtures where properly installed. The prices were very competitive with other electricians that we got estimates from. Miro was excellent at communicating, returning calls and being on time and he was very accommodating if I wanted to change or add something.

These guys are great! We had a serious electrical issue occur on a Sunday. We called BV Electric and Boris called right back. He asked us a bunch of questions. His advice, which was right on the money, was to speak with PG&E first, as it sounded like the cause was likely from the lines outside. Sure enough, that was the problem and PG&E fixed it. While that was happening, Boris called us back to see if the problem was resolved! He then came by the same day to fix the electrical panel, which had been damaged. I couldn't ask for better service or a more competent electrician.

Also, it struck me that the work that he did for me, compared to how I perceived the problem, was very honest. IE He found a simple solution and charged me fairly, rather than making it seem like a bigger problem which he easily could have done.

These guys are great. After a disaster with a handyman trying to hide flatscreen and sound system cables behind lath and plaster walls, BV Electric saved the day. Miro was on time and gave an estimate, the work was scheduled within a week. The guys came on time, did the job perfectly and within the estimated time frame. Not sure it was the cheapest option but I just wanted the job done properly and now the wall looks great.

I would absolutely hire them again. Could not be happier with the results.

Those guys are super fast to reply to email messages through YELP! I received a call in 5 minutes after sending a message. I provided all information about project and got a quote over the phone. Unfortunately I wasn't able to hire BV Electric. They quoted $129/Hr and it was over my budget.
Update: This guys are serious about providing an excellent service. I got a follow up call from Miro and he dropped by to provide me with an exact estimate. Per his opinion the project should be limited to troubleshooting and this definitely changes a lot. They are bonded, licensed and insured. Will update my review again if I decide to go with BV electric.
