Wayne and his crew are superb -- and I'll spell out the ways: It starts with the estimate, which is fair and solid. Wayne's a second generation electrician; he knows exactly what it takes to do a job. His figure is fair, and comes from deep knowledge. Then comes reliability - when Wayne sets the time, he's committed. You don't have to wonder about scheduling. He handles the inevitable surprises and challenges with grace and good humor. There's always a feeling that your favorite cousin is doing the job, not some stranger out to hustle. The work is elegant -- he ran a line halfway around my house, and I could barely see it. Wayne cares about how it looks and feels, not just how it works. He goes the extra mile -- he could have just left me plugs attached to that line but he crawled into my new washing shed and cut a hole for a vent, then gave me precise specs on what I needed to complete that function and stuck around to make sure it was done right. That's the extra mile, friends. If you ever need electrical work, think of that extra hole -- for which he charged me nothing. Lots of folks talk about ""full service."" There's something else, a bit squishier but way more valuable, and it's the way Wayne walks this world -- it's called Full Measure.

Wayne at Burbank Electric did the rewire on the rest of our house when our kitchen remodel contractor discovered that our 1950 home still had original wiring with no updating. We've been in the house for 21 years and I suspected that it would need to be done once the kitchen demo started. Wayne was highly recommended by friends of ours that he did electrical work for at their place. I found Wayne to be very friendly, upfront and experienced in the kind of house we have and the houses in the neighborhood we live in Burbank, as well as the in's and outs of dealing with the City and BWP with permits and inspections - things like that that none of the other contractors that came out to bid for the job did. Wayne was very clear on what would be needed to be done and how long it would take to do the job. I felt very comfortable that we would be in good hands. He has even, thankfully, come by on short notice to help us out with other wiring emergencies while the remodel continues, even though he's very busy. We recommended Wayne to friends of ours and I'd recommend him for any of your electrical needs.

These five stars should be lit by mega-watt electric bulbs. Burbank Electric's Wayne B is the electrician who other electricians call. He's the best.

Like many Burbankers living in a 70-year-old fixer, turning on the iron and the toaster oven at the same time was an iffy proposition. It was electric panel replacement time, as my old fuse box was straight out of The Shining. Having no power one day, I found Burbank Electric on nextdoor.com, where Wayne + crew were recommended 10x more than anybody else. That same day, Wayne appeared with a fix to get the power back on while we plotted a new panel replacement. It's not cheap, but you are only going to do it once.
Wayne pulled all the permits, handled the inspections, and did a seamless job. Now I can turn everything on at once.

Many of the the ""Yelp-sponsored"" electricians (there are 18) are not even in Burbank, and dispatch from some other location. Go with a local superstar who has probably already done work on your street.

Wayne's been back to my place for minor stuff, exactly as scheduled. He's also the nicest guy in Burbank. Electrical problems? Dry your tears and call this guy!

Wayne is the best electrician in the state. I've had others out to our house in the past and been over charged for minor things. Wayne actually cares about the people he works with and gives the most reasonable rates around. I highly recommend him and personally won't hire any other electrician ever again. He's not only great at what he does but is one of the kindest guys I've ever met. just talking with him puts a smile on my face every time. If you need any work done He's the person you should hire! Extremely professional! We got a new electric panel installed and had some other things fixed by him.

Wayne was prompt, efficient, and provided excellent service to repair a short in the wiring leading to our garbage disposal. Hope to NOT have to call him again . . .but that's only because who wants an electrical problem? If we do have one again, we will definitely call Wayne.

Wayne is great. Needed a full rewire of a home we purchased and was completely satisfied with his work. A lot of other contractors were very short or didn't really listen to my questions or concerns; Wayne is easy to talk to and offered good advice when it came to light fixtures, relocating outlets and showed me exactly how bad the old knob and tube wiring was.

About a month after Wayne finished the job, a few issues came up that he wasn't available to come by and fix, so he got someone else to take care of them free of charge.
