I am a Board member for a 54 unit condominium complex and needed an electrician to inspect all our breaker panels and repair or replace them if necessary. Our insurer required that we have all our breaker panels inspected. Wayne was professional, punctual and very knowledgeable. He has been doing this for a long time. He started when he was 17 and is now middle-aged. Great person to do the job. I would highly recommend him for any electrical issue.

Over a period of maybe 6 months, the circuit feeding our Dishwasher would stop working intermittently. As the months went on, the outages happened more frequently. We finally called Wayne at Burbank Electric. He was able to come by within 24 hours and provided us a very reasonable quote. He also told us the panel we had was very old and not the best. But he didn't try to over sell us or push us into a new panel. He was very honest that we were fine for now but at some point in the next 10 years we would need to act. Wayne came by the next day and finished the job in less than an hour! After 65+ years, I've come to value honesty above all when dealing with contractors. Wayne is the most honest person I believe we've ever worked with since moving here 35 years ago. And he's a very pleasant person to talk to.

We purchased a home in Burbank and shortly after moving in, our insurance company of nearly 20 years, dropped us because of an electrical panel they saw during their review. My wife asked for recommendations from our old neighbors and several recommended Burbank Electric.

Wayne came to our house within a day or two and looked at the panel, but also walked around with me and talked about other things I wanted to do. I was clear that some things might be some time before we could do or some things were just early ideas at this point, but Wayne listened, took notes, explained a couple of ways. But it never felt rushed or like he was eager to make a sale or talk me into anything, it was just a conversation with a really pleasant guy who knew a thing or two about electrical systems. (He also said he knew a few people he'd recommend for some of the smaller work, people who could handle the smaller jobs at a lower rate and might be able to fit us into the schedule quicker.)

A few days later, we had two quotes - one for the immediate work to replace the panel and a second for the ""larger"" future project. We confirmed we wanted to move forward on the immediate project. He estimated it would be about a days' worth of work and he had an opening in his schedule about a week later.

We cleared space and prepared for a day without power, but he did the work in such a way that most of our house still had power almost the entire time. As predicted, it took most of the day to install and then at the end, he worked to help me figure out where all the circuits went.

We will totally be calling Wayne and Burbank Electric for our future electrical work.

Wayne was incredible, from his very quick response and VERY detailed investigation into our complicated issue. He recommended other people to look into our situation, and walked us through all our different options, and really giving me a better sense of how the electrical system of our new house is working and its condition. We had to have our VERY OUTDATED electric panel replaced. If you need any electrical work done in Burbank, look no further (hey LA...you can use him too!!). Communication, honesty, reasonable rate, knowledgeable, experienced. Wayne is the whole package. This is our second time using his services and we are so confident in him that moving forward, we will not ask for competing bids for any work needed on our home - this is our guy.

Wayne was quick to respond, on-time to all appts, and super friendly. I wanted to add level 2 charging to my garage which already had a sub-panel at 40Amps. Ideally, I wanted to get 50Amps into the sub-panel to make the most of the charger. He immediately checked the gauge of the wire coming in and stated it shouldn't be a problem to update the main panel breaker to 50 and go from there. Saved me serious $$ in trying to rewire from the main panel with a 1 min check. He gave me some other pointers and explained some of the permit process so I was able to apply for that myself. Work was completed within an hour a couple weeks later from the estimate and passed inspections without a hitch.

Although I only had Wayne come once to our home to fix some electric issues, I was impressed by his honestly and effort. He was able to identify that the garbage disposal just needed some minor adjustment and that it was not an electric issue. He spent 3 hours going back and forth to fix our light sensor, which was not standard. He stayed until the job was completed correctly, always smiling. Great service and experience.
