We provide LED lighting for warehouses, motor operation, transformer setup, 3-phase equipment wiring, home lighting design and setup, upgrades to electrical services, circuit breaker panel upgrades. Additionally, we install complete home battery backup. Our team installs Lutron lighting control systems. C10-#659840 certified. We are licensed, bonded, and insured.
Operating since 1990, Bulterman Electric has operated in various aspects of electrical construction. We handle wiring 3-phase welders at 480 volts to industrial high bay LED lighting to all phases of wiring in commercial and residential sectors.
As the owner of Bulterman Electric, I began my journey in electrical construction in Berkeley, CA over three decades ago. After five years, I transitioned to Santa Cruz and operated my business there for 25 years. Our focus was on installing the electrical systems and lighting in luxury homes, servicing three-phase motor installations on eco-friendly farms and various commercial enterprises. In recent times, we have been wiring homes that have been recently rewired and installing LED lighting in commercial warehouses.

Louis A.Robert did excellent work in a cheerful and timely manner for a remodel of my house in El Cerrito. The structure was, to be honest, a bit of a wreck containing much substandard older wiring. The work was as follows:
- explained what was needed for code-compliant changes, and options for new fixtures
- obtained a city permit for PGE service change
- upgraded wiring which included adding new circuits including a 20-amp (I think) kitchen and dedicated bedroom/hall smoke alarms
- installed new fixtures including recess ceiling can LEDs which greatly brightened the place
- quickly answered all my inquiries and oversaw inspection
