Had them come out to look over our place and provide an estimate back in late June. They told us it would take a few days to go over it and that they will contact us when it's done. A week later, we get a partial estimate with an email saying the rest will be provided shortly within the next few days. A couple of responses and phone calls later, we still haven't received a full quote (it's now the beginning of August). I will say the quotes we did receive from them were competitive, but the lack of communication and follow up makes one hesitant to recommend them

We contacted them and explained what we needed. We set up a time for them to come out and scheduled a consultation and they never showed up. I don't recommend.

I had received several quotes and ultimately went with Buildaworks. Their communication was timely as was their arrival for the scheduled appointment. They replaced my garage entry door as requested. They also assisted us with repairing some dry rot on a door frame. I would definately use them for repairs in the future!

Jonathan is super responsive and he does amazing work! He's installed all the ceiling fans in my house and my parent's house. His prices are very reasonable and I've recommended him to everyone who needs an electrician. I highly recommend Buildaworks any time you need work done in your home. You won't be disappointed!

In doing various projects at my condo, I recently needed to have a new glass tile back splash installed in my kitchen, and tiling done around the bath vanity, and JOSE and SAMMY did a truly AWESOME JOB! So many tradespeople I contacted, did not return a call, or had me send photos without even answering the Yelp request back.

Do yourself a favor, call them FIRST!

I submitted a request on HomeAdvisor for some electical repair work and was contacted by Ken at Buildaworks. One of my electical fuses tripped and I couldnt reset it so I was looking for someone to come out and troubleshoot.

I spoke with Ken and described the issue and he asked me to try pushing the tripped fuse all the way to the right for a few seconds and then to the left. Now I had tried moving the tripped fuse to the right but rather quickly before putting the word out for help so when I got home I tried what Ken recommended and lo and behold this resolved the issue.

Why am I putting this review up? Because buildaworks offered me a solution for free when they could have easily came out and charged me $95. I will hire them for any future electrical needs and its rare to find a contractor with these kind of ethics.

Jonathan was very professional.we had some ceiling fans installed and got a big screen tv mounted.Price was very reasonable,came on time finished their job on time.I will highly recommend to anyone looking for an electrician.
