I was very impressed with Jason and his people. He came to my house on-time and he corrected the bath vent and the plug for a reasonable price. He even quoted me the price before he does the work. He came out again after a power surge hit our house when bad weather occurred, and he came out to diagnose the problem. I find him to be honest and professional and does the job effectively.

Used this company to install electric on a new dock. They have a dock crew that really knows what they are doing. James and crew were on time, knowledgeable, clean up after their work.

Jason and Dylan installed new LED flushmount lights in our hallway, replacing a botched DIY job by previous owner. Professional work, great to work with, these guys will be our only electricians. Thanks!

Jade and his crew at Buell Electric went above and beyond to help me complete some electrical upgrades on my condo. I received a quote from another contractor in the Bay Area that was completely inaccurate and caused delays and in my project. Buell Electric was recommended, so I gave them a call. Jade came out very quickly and gave me a very accurate quote, explained the situation to me, and made some very good recommendations. Once the schedule was set the crew from Buell showed up on time, completed the work, and were very friendly, professional. The work turned out great and was completed very quickly. I highly recommend Buell Electric, and they will be the only electrical contractor I call in the future.

We had an AC mini-split installed which required electrical work, and also had some other minor electrical issues that we wanted done during the same call. The first crew that was wiring the AC was there for several hours, most of which was spent on the phone asking for directions, then they left without completing the other work. After repeated calls & text a guy who identified himself as the foreman came back out to complete the work, which included simply replacing an outdoor light fixture that was removed during a ceiling repair. He replied that he wasn't able to reinstall the old fixture & tried to sell me a $300 ""upgrade"" instead. Our kitchen ceiling fan has a bulb that keeps going out, he simply replaced the bulb & declared it ""fixed"", without further investigation, when asked to determine why the bulbs kept blowing out he became rude & was asked to leave before the other two jobs were done. We had to call D'Andrea Electric, which did a great job fixing all the other issues. The owner of Buell, Jade said he would pay the D'Andrea bill to ""make things right"", after 12 days still has not paid the D'Andrea bill, so of course we had to pay two electrician bills for the same work!

Very responsive, professional and personable; the service provided is outstanding- thanks Shaun!
It's hard to navigate finding the right people to hire for projects, big and small, and I appreciate the peace of mind Buell Electric gives me.

Hired them for a full home rewire in historic Kenwood in St. Pete and they did a fabulous job, were efficient, timely, consultative, and they communicated well. A professional, reliable crew, no games or runarounds. Just guys working hard to do quality work as agreed. Highly recommend.

If you like working with knowledgeable, courteous, and skilled tradespeople, Buell Electric is for you. We contacted them for a fairly complex job and the job was finished efficiently, and to our immense satisfaction. Everyone associated with the company was a pleasure to work with. I recommend this company without hesitation.

On behalf of the Seller, my realtor called Buell in to inspect some electrical work done on the house I was in the process of purchasing. She swore by Buell. They did this at no charge (very nice) as a favor to her. However, they apparently only did a CURSORY view of things...
I needed some other (paid) work to be done, but Buell did not return my multiple emails or calls. So I had to find another company to come in to add some outlets...
When he came he found several items at issue including 1) a shorted out outlet, 2) code violation because there were too few outlets in the kitchen, and 3) loose wires in a re-worked electrical panel.
It seems to me that even if they weren't paid to fix these things, they should have been pointed out... otherwise, what was the point of their inspection... and their signed ""endoresement"" is meaningless, as when i called to discuss these issues, I was told that they were only asked to look at things... that they didn't touch anything... and that I would have to pay them to come back out for anything else.
So I have no idea why they even bothered to come out to look at anything if they claim no responsibility or provide no warranty... no, the seller did not pay them, but they then shouldn't have signed anything and/or should have at least pointed out the problems. They may not have been asked to do more than a cursory look... but then they should have added that doing so would not provide them with enough knowledge to ok the work that was done.
Proceed with caution.

On July 21st, I called Buell Electric after a friend, referred the company to me. I spoke with Juan, who was very nice and helpful, and he said someone would call me in 30 minutes to schedule a time to come out. They called as promised and two young men came out the next afternoon, which was a Saturday. We showed them the home office and where we needed electricity in that space. They reviewed the situation and determined they could not run electricity to the room on a dedicated circuit. We discussed the options, and they determined the only viable solution was to run a line with wiremold from an existing outlet to create a new outlet in the space. They left us with a quote for $250 and said they would schedule the work for later in the week. I provided them with days of my availability, which they wrote on the quote as August 2nd or Friday the 4th. I expected to hear from their manager or scheduler to learn which day they would come.
In the meantime, I referred Buell to others.
Wednesday, August 2nd, came and went with no phone call. So, I called on Thursday the 3rd, and Juan promised someone would call back in 30 minutes. No one called. I called again on Friday the 4th, and this time, Jade Schwelberger called back to schedule the work for Monday, August 7th, at 9:00am.
By 11:00am on Monday, when no one came, I called again. This time, I called Jade's cell phone directly. His voicemail was full, so I was unable to leave a message, but he called back within a few minutes. I asked what time they were coming. He said he was overbooked, and the person who was scheduled to come out was not working that day. He offered to come Thursday the 10th. Having little choice, I accepted Thursday's appointment. I asked simply if anyone was planning to call me to say they were not coming, or if anyone was even aware that I had an appointment this morning. Rather than answer the question, he offered to cancel the appointment we just scheduled for Thursday the 10th. I agreed that was best.
Then, we called Mister Sparky.
Henry came out and reviewed the situation from a new perspective. He disagreed with the other company's assessment, and found a way to run a hidden dedicated line to the new office space. He also suggested a few other improvements, such as whole-house surge protectors. He asked if there was anything else we needed while they were here. He did a little upsell, and our $250 quote from Buell turned into a $1600 purchase from Mister Sparky. Our problems were solved in under four hours with the solution we wanted all along.
Had Jade Schwelberger extended just a bit of customer service, our small job could have turned into a few thousand dollars with future business and referrals for Buell. Instead, it was apparent that he felt our business was not worth his time. As a result, we will not give Buell our business in the future, nor will we recommend Buell to others.
