This company is unprofessional and unreliable. I hired them to do an electrical inspection and report. They did the inspection 10 days ago. And then...crickets. Calls to them go unanswered. When you finally reach them they give you promises or excuses. But no report. I have a rental property that is sitting empty waiting for the report so we can do an upgrade. A lost of 10 days means I have lost about $1000 in lost rent. If they were honest and reliable and would tell when I could expect the report, everything would be Ok. But for example, last Friday they said ""We are working on it and will send it by the end of the day""...and nothing. I only wish I had listened to the other negative reviews posted here. Stay far, far away from this unreliable company.

I had a good experience with Budget. The exhaust fan was not working in the bathroom of the townhouse I am renting, and Budget was assigned to the work order by the warranty company. First of all, when I called, the lady on the phone spoke clearly and was pleasant to work with. On the day of the service, Sergio arrived near the start of the 2-hour window, and was able to fix the fan on the same day by replacing the motor. He had the work done in less than 20 minutes and then spent a few minutes cleaning up after himself. I was so glad that he got the repair done in 1 trip, and that I was able to get to work at a reasonable hour.

With the mixed reviews I am quite perplexed as to how you get good service through this company like those who listed their service as good. Budget was assigned through my Home Warranty, and it has been the worst experience I had ever had. Shame on me I passed on one company because they couldn't come out for more than 1 week. Well, here I am into this thing with Budget and it has been over two weeks and I still do not have authorization from the Warranty Company because of Budget's careless way of providing information for the decision to be made. The Owners wife who does scheduling has right out lied to me several times, which was confirmed by HOW when I called to confirm what she had said. This is not a big job, so perhaps that is the issue. It does seem that since they have a history of working with Home Warranty's that they would know how to fill out accurate reports, submit when they say they submitted, and return phone calls. I am told that if I don't use them I have to start over. HOW is not invested in their clients and the type of treatment their vendors give them. It's pretty much just ""wait and let it run it's course"", we will call you when we have the right paperwork, or you can start over.

This review is based on the services of our technician Abraham. The circuits in our panel box were overloaded after we installed a new microwave, causing the power to trip unless we turned off other lights first in the kitchen when we used it. Abraham was timely, polite, straight forward, and patient answering any questions we had both during the initial diagnosis as well as the day he came out to install the necessary panel upgrade and new circuit. Everything works great now and I am very appreciative we had Abraham as our tech, as his customer service was above and beyond awesome. Thanks again Abraham!

They set an appointment today between Noon and 2pm. I confirmed beforehand and drove some distance from another city to meet and wait and wait for their electrician, John. I waited until 3:30pm No show. I called Budget Electric several times. They never picked their phone up. They never called me. It's 5:30pm now. They have still never called. Very unprofessional and poorly managed.

We dont usually write reviews but Budget Electric is deserving. As most new home owners could relate we had no idea what to do about most of our electrical issues in our ""new"" fixer- upper. Michael from Budget Electric was assigned to our house when a switch went out soon after we moved in. Michael arrived on time to our appointment. He got to work on the light switch issue quickly and fixed it. Then things got good. We began asking general and then more complex questions and Micheal was beyond educational and gave us many options to go about repairs/upgrades. He tested out other outlets and even took a look at some electrical concerns we had in our garage. In his short visit he basically fixed our switch, gave us basic electrical education, tested other outlets and saved us a couple hundred of dollars with a DIY project. When we are ready to fix and upgrade everything they will get a call from us! Thanks from 2 happy customers.
