Alex K.My living room doesn't have any lights so I called Bryden to install recessed light (a total of 6). They were very thorough and treated the work as if they were doing it for their own home. My wife and I are very please with their work and will use them in the future.
Thanks guys!
Excellent work. They charged me $125 an hour to move an exterior outlet and to modify a closed box to an outlet. So I'm saying a fan because the work by Daniel was fine, but I will not be using them again since I believe the hourly rate is excessively high. I wish I had focused on it before I wrote the check. This work was 2.5 hours.
Brian of Bryden also came to review a generator with me and was very knowledgeable and up front about all challenges.
These guys are responsive and thoughtful. We had a series of weird electrical problems that they figured out. Andre is thorough, takes time to explain the problems.
Linda E.I had a crazy electrical issue this past weekend. Bryden came out and after hours of hunting for the problem, they were able to repair it.
They crew was wonderful, easy to talk to and a pleasure to deal with.
Although they seem to be a bit higher in their hourly rate, they did a fine job. I was in a pinch and really had to have someone come out. I chose to pay the higher hourly rate, but was happy with their service.
I would certainly use them again!
Roy S.I just had some major rewiring done by Bryden Electrical & they are hands down
the best in town. Their quote came in lower than the other three I received
& the job was carried out extremely professionally by very courteous electricians
assigned to do the work. Also, Eileen, the customer relations rep in their office was
super helpful & ensured smooth running from beginning to end.
I can recommend these guys with no hesitation whatsoever... thank you Bryden!!
Steve W.These gentleman came to install a 110 outlet for our air conditioner they also were going to update our federal board which is dated but to bring it to code they were going to put the fascia plate on it they did not do this for the $2,300 that we paid them after they left I got estimates that we're under $1,000 for the same work they did go figure. I recall asking for a breakdown he claimed the wire alone for a 75 foot run was $700 this was a flat out lie I understand making a profit but this is gouging. My father graduated Berkeley as an electrical engineer and agreed we were ripped off. Boo after having referred them in the past to big accounts. Then they have the audacity to offer changing a breaker on my tennis court for $350 and labor $100 go figure robbers. I will not hire or refer them ever again.
I was so apprehensive to call an electrician for so long to help me with the electrical problems I'd been having in my home that I just put up with problems for years. I got this referral of Bryden Electrical from Angie's List and it made all the difference. They sent this guy named ANDRE and he was everything you would hope to get in a service technician. He was well groomed with a clean appearance. He was a great communicator and he fixed my problem in 15 minutes. Having finished that he made sure everything was working properly and then he went the extra mile to help me with my disposal and boy, let me tell you, that was not a fun or easy job but he stuck with it and really gave it his full attention. He didn't have to help me with that at all but he was fantastic.
I will not hesitate to call them again in the future. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing I'm not going to get ripped off or taken advantage of. ANDRE could have totally taken advantage of my ignorance and gone over the 1 hour to milk all the profit he could have gotten for the company but he just got the job done and didn't waste time.
Bryden reigns supreme. Two quick stories.
First, a couple years ago, we needed to install some new outlets in the kitchen and change out an electrical panel. Two electricians told us we needed to break open walls and basically rewire then entire house at a cost of more than $10K. Brian from Bryden came in, carefully looked around and saw we could do what we needed for around $2K. Everything was installed safely and quickly and we haven't had an issue in two years.
Story #2. This summer, we installed ceiling fans and track lighting. Price was very competitive and we didn't have to wait more than a day to get the job done. The Bryden electrician installed a light switch in the kitchen that we later discovered bumped against a pantry door when it was fully opened with the drawers rolled out. Bryden acknowledged that it was an installation error and scheduled us as the first appointment in the morning to fix the job. Positioning the new switch was a more involved project than we expected. It took the technician over an hour and would have cost us several hundred dollars but Bryden gracefully ate the cost and didn't charge us a cent.
Always fair, always clear, always prompt, always communicative, and always calling them!
I have been using them for years. they always do a great job. I needed a rush job at my deli in Santa Monica, The owner Brian came over and Started the job himself. They even help us remove and install the new Deli case. that was not part of the job, but they help out. I highly recommend using them. It is nice to see people still take pride in there work.

Terrific experience with Bryden Electrical. Our remodeling project went south due to a lousy contractor and a lousy electrician. Bryden came in and fixed all the problems created by the two clowns we originally hired to do the job. Bryden electricians are very professional and they know their job. Brian, the owner, is absolutely a pleasure to work with. He is honest, fair, and very knowledgeable.
