Inspired by friends and family, Mike Gagnon started Bryco Electric, Inc. With over 35 years of experience as the lead electrician at various companies, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his own business. We are available 24/7, including weekends, because while electricity is a convenience, it can also pose risks, and our top priority is safety.
Troubleshooting is our area of expertise. When other electricians are stumped, Mike can quickly identify and fix the issue.
We oversee the project from start to finish. Should the job require permits, inspections, or liaising with the local power company, we manage everything. No matter the size of the job, we are here to assist you.
At 18, Mike began his journey in electrical work, motivated by skilled tradespeople. His determination led him to tackle challenging tasks like fire damage repairs. This experience has equipped Mike to handle any electrical problem. We provide services for major storm and fire repairs, car charging stations, panel replacements, and meter swaps.

I had Mike and David back to do a much bigger project. If you thought I was happy before... wow!! They arrived on time, and again were as nice as nice could be. They got right to work, installed three exterior outlets (a HUGE help!!), relocated a switch in my laundry room, installed a light in my laundry room (let there be light!!), and also installed an LED light to illuminate my entire backyard for my pups. All of this in only a matter a couple hours. I was SHOCKED! This was a LOT of work and I was floored with how quickly they got it all done. I could not be happier with everything. I will recommend Bryco Electric to everyone and anyone!!

Bryco Electric (Mike and David) are very knowledgeable professionals who have been doing electrical work for decades and it shows. They installed a gas tankless water heater (which requires electricity), a new ceiling fan and multiple new outlets and lights. They aren't the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for. If you want to be able to trust your home's fire safety to a professional, call Bryco. They came highly recommended by my plumber, who knows them personally. They were quick with getting things installed and they were friendly and pleasant to have around. Mike helped me to figure out which lights to order for under cabinet hard wired kitchen lights. They were great with helping me to finish work on a home remodel project. If you want to hire the professionals who are at the top of the industry, call Bryco.

I live in an old house, so I never have small problems. The things that go wrong with electricity for me are generally always total outages or whole sections of the house going dark. Read: Disasters. I found Mike Gannon and Bryco Electric by a referral from another electrician who couldn't do the work when a tree took out my power lines and ruined the old fuse box and the wiring inside my home. Long story short, Mr. Sparky came out first, didn't fix a thing and charged me $300 for nothing. The next guy refused the work and gave me Bryco's number. Mike was at my house on a Sunday morning 30 minutes after I called him. The power was restored in just a couple of hours. Flash forward a few years and he has come out for other problems, always fixing the issues fast and affordably. After tropical storm Irma, he came out again and fixed the damage from the storm before sunrise. There is no other electrician in all of the Atlanta area that I would trust for the big jobs. Heck, I wouldn't trust anyone else with the small jobs either.

As a new home owner, I'm eager to have a reliable, talented team of experts at the ready, and now I have my go-to electrician. Based on NextDoor neighborhood reviews, I called Mike to follow up on some electric issues noted in my home inspection. David walked through my house with me and fixed some of the illogical wiring, wacky dimmers and inoperable lights. Easy to work with and has a sense of humor too! I'll be calling them again! Mike showed up to make sure I was happy with everything, and we ended up chatting about our families, our three-year-olds and custom iron work.

After a tree knocked down my electric line and service pole, I called Bryco electric on Saturday, Mike was at my house first thing Sunday morning to give me an estimate, and ready to do the work on Monday. His was the third of three estimates and the best of the three. Because of complications with my insurance I couldn't have him begin work until Tuesday. He and his team showed up on schedule and completely replaced my electric service, installed a new meter and all new smoke detector system, and coordinated with the county to make all the arrangements. Mike worked tirelessly to satisfy my relentless claims adjuster to make sure he had every bit of documentation needed for my claim. In two days, they were in and out and I had power again. THANKS MIKE!

The recent ice storm caused a limb to fall and tear out my service line and the I-bolt it was attached to. Georgia Power came out Saturday evening and told me it was my responsibility to make the repairs and notify them when it was complete. Early SUNDAY I got in touch with Mike through another electrician I knew. Despite being overloaded with work from the storm he was able to make the repairs before dark.

My first experience with Bryco Electric was in the middle of purchasing a ""fixer upper"" house, when Mike came to inspect the electrical system and give us a quote for any work that would need to be completed. My husband and I were impressed with how knowledgable he was and how quickly he was able to fit us in. After we closed on said house, we again reached out to Bryco to have them rewire the house, ground the system, install outlets in all the bathrooms, and change the outlet for the oven. It took about 5 days total for all the work to get done, but after the first day, I felt comfortable leaving a key for them to come and go as needed while I was at work. They did a great job, were meticulous about cleaning up after themselves, and rewired a couple of outlets for me that weren't in the original quote because they were already in an adjoining wall. It really doesn't get much better than that! We were very pleased with our experience and intend to use Bryco Electric if any issues arise in the future.

I just used Mike to upgrade my electrical service from 125A to 200A, install new high voltage wiring to an indoor and outdoor heat pump unit, and add another outlet to the garage. Despite it being a big job, Mike came highly recommended so I didn't bother getting other quotes and can't tell you how he compares price-wise. All I can say is that the prices were reasonable for the quality and speed that the work was performed (although there's always a bit of sticker shock on a job this big!). Mike was also very aware of the codes and needs for the inspection. As such, my house needed basically a brand new smoke alarm system to meet code which he performed for a reasonable fee. He even went above and beyond and added an additional smoke/CO detector in the hall outside our new baby's room without an additional charge.
I would definitely use again for any electrical service needs. He DEFINITELY has a leg up when it comes to major service upgrades like mine because he has been doing this for so long that he knows and has a great relationship with GA Power and (at least Dekalb) inspectors and is able to work closely with them to minimize downtime. I think the total downtime for my panel replacement was less than 4 hours and the work he did was immaculate. As I said in the beginning, I can't say if Mike is the cheapest...but he does great work and in my opinion with a system as critical as the electrical, that is the most important thing!

I found Mike Gagnon's ad in our weekly church bulletin - we've owned our home a long time and have hired several electricians over the years, some better than others. We've had to hire new ones to fix what their predecessors did wrong (such as cross wires in our attic, which made our doorbell ring whenever it had a mind to!). Recently, I had a to-do list that Mike and his assistant worked on diligently - very pleased with the results. The two men cleaned up after themselves too, a big plus. Mike accepted our payment via a credit card, another plus. Thanks, guys.
