Recommended Customer Reviews

Jorge was quick and very responsive to what we needed. He was also very friendly and professional. Thank you for the good experience Jorge and Bryant Service Company.

I wanted to add a new light fixture on my garage, and I contacted Bryant at the recommendation of a neighbor. It took a while to hear back from them, but to be fair, I initially made contact around Christmas time, and mine was a small and non-emergency project.
My technician, Jorge, was very polite and informative as we discussed the work I wanted done, he wrote up an estimate, I okayed it, and he got to work. I paid $500ish for him to drill through my rock wall, set a junction box, fish wire through the wall and attic, and install the fixture. It was on the high end of what I expected to pay, but seems reasonable. He had to cut a couple holes in my drywall, but was able to salvage the pieces so that I only need to patch the seams.
If ""how tidy does he keep his work area"" is an indication of quality of work, then Jorge is top-notch. He put down plastic drop cloths under his tools to protect my (dusty concrete) garage floor, swept up rock debris and dust from his drilling, and took his shoes off when he needed to walk through my house (he had run out of the slipper/bootie things they usually use).
For future electric work, I'll get estimates from other companies, but I will definitely consider using Bryant again.

This company is a ripoff. We had to ask them to stop showing up and hire another electrician to finish the job. We were charged $6400 for an incomplete job to rewire a kitchen and move a subpanel. Bryant asked for another $1800 to finish the job so we gave up on them. If you decide you love being overcharged for electric work and choose Bryant, ensure Mauricio isn't your electrician. He advised our house kept him up at night indicating he didn't know what he was doing and he took forever to complete work. The electricians observing his work for our second opinion had a laugh at his expense when they saw the quality of his work. When confronting manager Michael Galvez about the situation, he declared Bryant had competitive rates and wasn't sympathetic whatsoever offering a price guide from a consulting firm as evidence. The only evidence this provided was Bryant is out of touch with rates in the market, hired a consulting firm to help, and is passing along the cost to its consumers. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Update: Bryant did not pull a permit with the city prior to starting the work. When we fired them, they threatened to pull the permit if we didn't take this review down. The review was taken down, but Bryant proceeded with the permit anyway. We are first time homeowners and this was our first job on the house. Unfortunately, we weren't as familiar with the requirements for this type of work as we should have been and Bryant completely took advantage of us.
Response to comments below: Statements by Michael are grossly exaggerated at best and a flat lie at worst. If you find a quote for over $6k for a subpanel move and kitchen rewire in less than 500 sq ft, by all means, go with Bryant. They have nice trucks and uniforms. Other electricians will laugh as you hand money to this company while Bryant laughs their way to the bank. If you like reasonable prices and great customer service, steer clear.

Excellent service, thorough and did a great job for us! I will never use anyone else! The tech was friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He even followed up with a phone call to make sure I was happy.

Of the several contractors I dealt with during my whole project, Bryant is the ONLY ONE that did not let me down in their promise to provide quality service and performance.

Bryant Electric Service was called to address a failed bathroom GFCI. The primary reason for using Bryant was their lower service call charge of $69 -- entitled ""Travel Truck Overhead Expenses"" (assumed labeled as such for tax write-off purposes). With a lesser service call fee, it was anticipated that overall charges would also be reasonable. This was clearly not the case, given their labor charges. The total charge for replacing one GFCI came to $268.46 -- clearly exorbitant/excessive beyond reason. Consistent with the other YELP negative reviews regarding the excessive charges of this company, I couldn't agree more that it is one to avoid -- unless of course you have unlimited financial resources where blatant price gouging is not an issue for you.

The tech they sent out was friendly, knowledgeable and honest. He helped me make a decision that I feel was best for the long term use of my house. Good company.

We paid $69 for a salesman to come by and way overbid our proposed job.
Not that we ever did get a comprehensive list of what the estimate included exactly,
but it was more than twice what similar companies charge.
Beware.

I called for service on Monday after we found out that our dryer wasn't working due to an electrical problem. We set up service for Wednesday. The technician called about 15 minutes prior to arriving (and was early). He promptly got to work and told me the problem was a breaker issue. He fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. I would and will definitely call them again for any future needs.

When Bryant Electric was called the electrician came out and completed the job in a timely and professional manner and did a great job!
