I had a light fixture replaced and a couple of exterior outlet boxes replaced. The guy who came was Josh Figueroa. He was very helpful and friendly.

Replaced dimmer switch, bulbs and serial connection to the bog pump. Main problem was broken toilet exhaust fan & lamp. Had him swap the unit from upstairs toilet. Purchased a fan from Homedepot which did not fit. He though it could be a 5$ capacitor but he did not have the part. I ended up buying the entire unit online (150$) and fitting it myself. I paid 500$ for the other jobs ( labor only since all parts were on hand already) which is too much!

Called up a different time to enquire how much it would cost to add a separate breaker for a treadmill. The girl answering the phone said that it will cost 59$ to have someone come and quote. I asked for a ball park, low, high and most probable based on their past experience. She stated that it was policy to quote a price only after a visit ....

I requested an appointment ($59) from Bryant Electric Service because couple outlets in my rental property were not working according to my tenants. They responded very quickly. After the initial diagnosis, the electrician called to inform me that the issues were complicated so an in-depth diagnosis ($350 after waiving the initial $59 appointment fee) would be required. I didn't really have a choice since I was not present. I gave the technician permission to do the diagnosis. After the in-depth diagnosis , he told me that the GFCIs have tripped. All you need to do is to press the reset button. He continued to tell me that the two receptacle covers for the outlet located outside the house are damaged and that might have contributed to the GFCI tripping and recommended replacing them. I said ok and asked him for a quote. He told me it was $120 a piece. Honestly I have never purchased weather-proof receptacle covers before but that price struck me as ridiculously high. I asked him to explain to my tenants how to reset. While he was doing that, I went on Home Depot website and searched for the price. The price ranges from $5-$25 a piece. I called him back and asked him what is the difference between the one he quoted me on and the ones sold in Home Depot. He said his company carries different brand. When I asked him what brand it is, he said he didn't remember. I didn't agree for him to install them so he left. And I did end up buying $8 a piece from Lowe's and replaced them myself. So there I paid $350 for him to tell me resetting the buttons next time when it happened. The electrician is very knowledgeable no doubt. I don't hold this against the electrician himself a bit. But there is obviously something going on with how the company asks their employee to get more money out of the customers unfairly. I will never recommend their service to anyone.

I installed some new light fixtures myself and then was greeted by my smoke alarm going off so I wanted a professional to come take a look right away. Bryant was all booked up for the day but put me on their list in case somebody opened up and sure enough Nick was able to come that afternoon. He took a look at everything and made sure all the connections were secure. Very fast, professional, and affordable service. I highly recommend them.

Oh my gosh! I was so nervous! I had a small issue with a light not working, no obvious issues with the fixture, no problems with the breaker but I couldn't read any power coming from the switch. I had called my go-to electricians who are apparently too busy right now to answer the phone. I called another friend-recommended electrician who set an appointment and then didn't show. I found Bryant on Yelp and I got an immediate response and then my appointment even got moved up a few days due to a cancellation. What I was nervous about were the few negative reviews and even some of the positives that mention outrageous pricing. Maybe it just depends on the issue but my electrician, Bryan, fixed the issue very quickly, very professionally and at an unbeatable price. He also did a free electrical kind of inspection, checking all of my outlets and switches.

It was super easy to set up the appointment, I got emails and texts along the way so planning for the appointment was no problem and my issue was resolved without breaking the bank. For me, it was an ideal transaction. Thank you!

The service was very good - communication from the office, knowledge and work of the technician and overall reliability. What were were unhappy about was the initial cost estimate and we did voice our concern. Our electrical problem was that power to a few outlets in 2 bedrooms was not getting there. The lowest cost option suggested was to find the faulty outlet and repair it for $329. The estimate of time to complete this was 1-2 hours. I know the actual supply cost was low so the $329 was for the labor. We felt that this estimate was extremely high but we went ahead rather than pay the service fee of $75, lose time and find another estimate. Thanks.

Top notch outfit that is competent and very smooth with the customers. They are also cheaper which is not why I hired them but does help. If I did the same job with someone like Fox it would be twice as much and someone would have to come out and fix it again. Thanks

Great service! Would highly recommend this company. Very easy to schedule the service appointment. Received an email letting me know they were on their way. Our technician, Booth, was very professional and friendly. He was able to find and fix our issue the same day!

Here's what we had done: Relocate 2 ceiling light fixtures and a wired smoke detector. Install new lights into the 2 relocated fixtures. Clean up a mess of switches on one wall. It's hard to even describe the ridiculous array of switches the previous owner had put in. Bryant Elec was able to consolidate 8 switches into 3 and it looks great. Also, removed fixture boxes and disconnected wiring for 4 sconces that were in the living room. Total cost was $853.

We are happy with the work and have already scheduled them to come back and do more. They do charge a $79 fee to give you an estimate. We weren't crazy about that but if you use them, that fee goes toward your bill. We had used a different electrician earlier in the year that didn't give estimates. They just came out and did the job and then presented the bill. We were pretty surprised at how high it was. We won't do that again. We've found that it's difficult to comparison shop any type of home improvements involving contractors. They either don't show up or they want to charge for estimates and it's a time consuming process. That being said, it's hard to say how high or average or low Bryant's pricing is but it seems reasonable, especially compared to our experience with the other electrician. Booth Sen is the technician that Bryant sent out. He was extremely professional, friendly and a very good communicator. He showed up on time, both for the estimate appointment and then for the scheduled work. The quality of his work is top notch. We will use Bryant exclusively for all electrical work we need.

Called them for electrical work in a rental property in Austin , I live 200 miles away. Needed two fixtures installed that I had already purchased and a new wall switch. Charged $397 for less than 1 hour's work. The electrician himself was excellent but after he completed the work it seems that he had time to go around the house and catalog all the other work that needed to be done. Called to discuss the pricing but have never heard back. I guess this will teach me not to be so trusting from reading reviews.
