I have over 20 years of experience as an electrician, I started my professional journey as a worker digging trenches and advanced my career. Eventually, I became service supervisor, working directly with the public and developing lasting relationships. I took this role seriously to make certain that all customers' electrical systems was safe and functional and complied with safety regulations. Knowing the frustration of electrical mishaps, I earned my certification through WECA to expand my knowledge and became state certified. In 2005, I decided to apply for my C-10 license from the contractors state license board.

This guy taught me always have a written contract. He did a third of the work, demanded full payment, put a lean on my house and ultimately sued me in small claims where my attorney could not get to him. After he lost he threatened me in the parking lot of the court house. Only use this guy if you want to go through total hell, be threatened and fear for you life.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! My Mom is 80 years old and I work 60+ hours per week. If you want to get ripped off call Browne Electric. He came in, pushed the GFI in the kitchen, and asked us for $223.48. He didn't have an invoice and didn't leave a business card. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. I wonder what the 48 cents is for? Some of us in life help people and don't take advantage of people...I hope you find someone like that!

Avoid this guy at all cost. This review isn't even based on his work. He never even showed up. I shoulda read his yelp reviews before I even called him!! I had a fire inspection set up for the day after the work was supposed to be done. I got to the location that the work was supposed to be done at 7:30 am. 8am came and went and no phone call. I called numerous times with no answer. He finally texted me back at 9am to tell me he had to go on an emergency call and would get back to me when he would be coming up. I asked for him to call me. He never did. He would only text. Then he texted 1.5 hrs later than the scheduled appointment that he wouldn't come up.
This is by far the worst customer service I've ever seen. If you are under any kind of schedule I recommend not ever calling this guy. He will screw you over and not even call you to communicate anything. Read his yelp reviews and you will see I'm not the only one to have this guy screw them over and not show up or even have the common courtesy to communicate with them!

I had the same experience as some of the others. Made appointment: no call, no show. Returned my call 2 days later and said "" Oh, I thought you meant next Wednesday"". Rescheduled appointment and again: no call, no show, never returned my multiple phone messages. Really left us in a bad situation in very hot weather. Moving on to a business that actually has customer service. Try Williams Electric out of Oroville, fantastic customer service and final product

Had a very simple job for an electrician. Called Russell who said yep, no problem, I'll see you at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow. I had to take off from work to meet him, and he no showed. No call, nothing! Gave him a call at 3:30 p.m. when he says yeah, I'm on a big job I'll be another half hour. I'll call you. 4:00 p.m. comes and goes, again no call. With communication so at hand, it would have taken a second to provide an update, he chose to completely ignore me as a client. Not only was this extremely rude, but there was no consideration for my time what-so-ever! I would not recommend this company-ever! Don't be frustrated, just go somewhere else.

I want to thank Russell at Brown Electric for having Josh come out so quickly to keep our bathroom remodel on schedule. Josh was good about double checking the work to be done and locations. He worked quickly and had everything completed in a timely manner.

This is a very disappointing experience! I will first mention, this review is not in regards to the quality of work of this company, but rather the customer service experience. We were referred by Home Depot, to use them for the installation of our new ceiling fan. It isn't a basic install, and we required electrical work, that my husband wasn't comfortable doing, considering we've never had to do this type of work before. My husband called Brown Electric, and he was told because of personal reasons, he wouldn't be available for a couple of weeks. We were fine with that, considering the weather, it wasn't a big deal to wait a little longer. He told my husband that he would be here between 8-9am today. My husband made special arrangements with his work, to be available for this appointment. By 9:20, he wasn't here yet, and he hadn't called us. My husband called him. He didn't apologize for the inconvenience, and tells my husband that he is in Red Bluff still. He then asked if we still wanted him to come. We said no thank you...This is part of a service experience, not just the actual work! To not even acknowledge his tardiness, to be this unprofessional from the very beginning, just shows that we weren't important enough to him, to try to make it right, in some way...We are very understanding people. A simple apology, anything at all, could have helped with how I am feeling about this business. We will not be recommending this business in the future.

We couldn't be happier with the service received. Very professional, hard working and thorough. We had our electrical panel updated and our 50's kitchen electrical brought current, including awesome new LED ceiling cans instead of our awful flourescent hanging box. Showed up when he said he would, did more than we asked, finished earlier than we thought it would take and stayed on budget. Also when you leave him a message he calls you back, so rare that seems to be these days and so appreciated.

Great service.
We had an electrical problem with our wall outlets on a Saturday morning and called a couple of electricians in the area who advertise that they are available on Saturdays but the only one that we called willing to come out that morning was Russell, he showed up right away and had everything working in 1 hour. If we ever need an electrician again this is who we will be calling first.
