I was involved with another company that left us with our generator in pieces during the hurricane.

Brotherly Love installed a standby generator for us after the big freeze a few years back. We had followed the maintenance and oil changes and this year the generator kicked in for 2 days during the Derecho in May and 2 days after Hurricane Beryl in July. A bigger maintenance came up and I called to ask if they knew of anyone who could do the service. Turns out they now offer generator maintenance in addition to all the electrical services they offer.

Like last time, they were helpful about keeping the costs low. They said, it would be cheaper for me if I ordered from generac and even told me where to order the battery for the generator. They only perform maintenance services on certain days so it would be a few weeks out before they could come. But gave us time for the parts to come in.

True to my memory, our technician was professional, left no trace of his work and courteous. I mention them to all my friends who need a standby generator or service.

This company saved the day for me, on Friday I lost electricity to one half of my house, and as luck would have it, it was the side that ran the AC unit. I came to Yelp to find an electrician, I called several companies, most did not answer, some couldn't work me in until the following Monday. Then I called Adrienne, it was 4:30 pm on that Friday afternoon. The fact that I was calling so late on a Friday did not faze her, she was extremely helpful and promised that they could get the work done over the weekend. Ryan was out later that evening to access the work, by Saturday all of the new wiring had been laid. They handled all the permitting and contact with Center-Point. Ryan and Adrienne were right there all the way. Excellent work, excellent customer service.

I was told my quote would be complimentary and then whoever I spoke to went back on his word, thus charging me $175 for not doing any work on my home. Very subjective and unprofessional business practice. Went with A1 Plus Electrical instead who did a much better job diagnosing my problem than Brotherly Love Electric did.

I can't say enough about the positive experience I've had working with Brotherly Love Electric. We had researched getting a whole home generator for months and hadn't been able to make a decision on the kind to get or who to have install it. After talking to Daniel with BLE we felt very
comfortable with having them do it - and within a few days we had the generator and the gas and electric lines installed and connected. They are extremely responsive, professional and thorough and I highly recommend them.
