Absolutely the best service ever. Jason came right out and found the problem right away. They will definitely be my go to electricians from now on.

Life saver!!!!!! A tree took out our power early in the am, on naturally, a very hot & humid day. They were fast, kind, very reasonably priced. We could not be happier!!! Thank you thank you thank you!

Have been in Brazos County for many years that turned into decades and of course this company name was famous, successful and grew large enough to even serve projects as far away as Hawaii, reportedly.
That said, over the years this name has become infamous, so was VERY surprised to find them with a great BBB rating, even ""Accredited"" to lure suckers away from their cash.
At least two friends have worked for them which seemed a good idea at the time, they always had work! Later discovered company discounts bids on projects only so long as project builder remain 100% loyal to them = take no lower bids as they may come along. Further, supervisor treatment was horrible, insensitive and often cutting off promised overtime/bonuses and opportunities outside the company. When seeking relief from higher-ups, they were often looking at the back of a head distracted by something else ""most important"" to their problems and no acknowledgement of the guts, time, effort to visit their office. These now have better jobs that put smiles back on their faces.
Personally, my projects they served either directly or part of a general contractor's hire were substandard, wondering if they crossed the line on keeping a state license, however lowly residential they may be.
a) granted close quarters when installing 220v line for a new HVAC but to boot crush all those fine HVAC wires = shorting them out while doing it brought some HVAC cuss words out, thereafter it was discovered how shoddy the required conduit was hung
b) different HVAC: wiring a 1/2hp septic pump line into a HVAC compressor box ... really? Code or not, this shortens HVAC life, when both demand power one or both gets strangled
c) new whirlpool: wiring in breaker box went well, conduit not as sorry as above but allowed the switch to remain on outside wall = impossible to replace and we all know this happens sooner or later, be it whirlpool, garbage disposal or SPA/pool (similar air switches w/button)
BTW your BBB moved to Austin =
1. poor search results
2. big jump in higher fees to be accredited = very soon ONLY the big firms can afford this = eventually erodes trust in BBB ""accredited"" implications ... as this firm has done but considers such higher fees as ""advertising""

I called the Company to install a plug for my dryer on the wall in the utility room. The technician did not ask what kind of my dryer is and went ahead to install a 4-prong plug. It turned out that my dryer is 3-prong which cannot be plugged into a 4-prong plug. The Company later sent a technician to switch the 4-prong plug on the wall to 3-prong to fit my dryer. However, a supervisor called to say that the 4-prong plug is in compliance with the regulations, so he sent out the same technician again to switch it back. We had paid the original cost of $700+ and he wants to charge another $150+ for the later services.
The Company was lazy to ask in the first place what kind of my dryer was so the customer could use the dryer after the plug was installed, which was an irresponsible manner. The Company was professionally responsible to comply with law, yet at the cost of their customers as it charged the cost back to the customers.
The technician was friendly. While he was at my house, I chatted with him why I did not have heat in the house. He looked and guessed a few things but did not really look into as if the customer made a service call. Now. the supervisor was trying to charge me for that chat as well.
Be ware of this Company's inflated charges or added charges even for its own mistakes.

Make sure to go with Britt Rice. The rates are reasonable, but even more importantly, the work is done correctly and in a timely manner the first time around. The employees are all very professional, I felt comfortable having them in my home!
