Hi Amp power, my home (Watsonville, Santa Cruz county) is way down south where you guys are located, but I give you guys 5 star for replying back to my request. I think you guys are fair on your work as I've read on 1 of the reviews how you did want to honor your 2 years warranty on workmanship. I just wish that you guys are close to me so I can ask you guys for a quote in repairing the existing wiring for the outside door night light.

I had a job for an electrician and contacted four companies...this company never replied after I left a message.

Amp Power did a great job on labeling our breakers and installing a new outdoor outlet. They are reasonably priced as well as I had 2 other quotes that were more expensive, plus they were willing to work around our work schedules. The communication was great, and service was convenient and reliable. He was also very knowledgeable as well. I plan to reach out for other electrical needs in the future. Thank you!

Amp Power did a great job with a wiring problem at one of our apartment units. They had a fast response, reasonable pricing and quality work. We will be using them again in the future.

Initially, I was happy with the response from this company, but the more and more I've dealt with them, the more shady they seem and I could not recommend them to others. Nelson responded pretty quickly after I put in a request for a quote here on Yelp. I asked to have a new lighted mirror installed replacing an existing mirror, and to install a vanity light fixture replacing an existing fixture. He stated all work was guaranteed with a 2 year warranty and he was able to fit me into his schedule with just a couple days notice. He sent me a confirmation text when we scheduled and again on the morning of the appointment. He showed up on time on the day of the appointment, wore a mask and got to work quickly. All this was a great sign, however, the work itself was not great quality. Initially the mirror was crooked so I asked him to make it level to the countertop. (Shouldn't have had to point that out) when he fixed the leveling, he had to lower the mirror, so the hole where the electrical went through the wall was visible. (There was no hole before. He is the one that cut the hole and decided to place it in that location). He said I could patch it up. I needed to get to work, so I paid, but I shouldn't have let him leave it that way. I asked for a work-order/invoice and he said it would all be on the emailed receipt. When I received the receipt, it was just a square receipt with the dollar amount and no details. The company name on the receipt was also ""Brighter Future Electric"" which was very confusing since we had been communicating here with the name listed as ""AMP Power"". A google search showed no company under that name. I called Nelson back the same day as the install and asked if he could please come back and patch the hole. He said he'd send his drywall guy (also named Nelson?!) on Saturday morning at 9am to cut a new hole lower in the wall for the cord and then patch the visible hole. I asked again for a work order/invoice so I could keep it for my records and have some proof of this ""warranty"" and I asked if he had a website. He said he'd send all that info to me again. I have received nothing 4 days later. On Saturday morning I texted Nelson (the owner) at 8am to confirm he was coming at 9am. I rearranged my plans once again to be home for this. He did not respond. It is now 945 and i have received no response and no one has shown up to fix this improper install. I'll be disputing the charges with my credit card company.
Edit: The drywaller never showed up on the originally scheduled day. The owner Nelson offered to provide a full refund (refund has not yet processed on my credit card) and scheduled his drywaller to come again and fix things. On the day the drywaller was supposed to show up the second time, he was 20 mins late, and then when I asked how he was going to fix the hole, to make sure we were on the same page, he got very defensive and ultimately said we could fix it ourselves and just packed up and left while I was on the phone with Nelson trying to come to an agreement. Nelson was apologetic and did say he would likely not be working with that drywaller in the future and Nelson came and fixed the hole that afternoon, but in the end, I had to wait around 3 separate times excluding the original appointment, for an error that should have never happened in the first place. I never received any kind of invoice or work order for the work completed, no documentation of the supposed 2 year warranty on the work, and no information regarding the website for the company. I requested all that information twice.

Nelson and Bianca did A great job adding a 50 Amp 240V outlet in my garage. They kept the work area clean, tested the outlet and answered all questions before leaving. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Amp power again.

Nelson came by and checked everything out. He explained everything very clearly and gave options for what I needed to get my light switches and outlets working. Very professional and knowledgeable of the work and cost required to complete a project. He got my bathroom outlets working and walked me through the issue. Highly recommended, thank you so much!

We are very glad we went with Amp Power for our chandelier installation. They had great customer service prior to the actual work. Nelson and his coworker were very friendly, followed all covid protocols, installed the chandelier correctly even at the height we requested, cleaned up and even took our old chandelier with box to off haul. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We really appreciate you coming out on what could be a holiday since yesterday was july 4. pricing was also very very reasonable compared to other electricians. i also appreciate the quick scheduling and the responsiveness. all around great experience. we definitely found our electrician if we need the help. thank you!

Great service, very professional and timely. They quickly identified my electrical issue, and immediately repaired it for a reasonable rate. I hope I don't have any other weird electrical issues in my new house, but if I do, I'm calling Amp Power!
