Brightbar was quick to respond, showed up on time, had an estimate ready in a day and delivered. They needed an extra day as some items were surprises - as usual - no sweat! THey still delivered at the same price. The city inspection and utilities had to be all coordinated and Chris did an excellent job of getting things done. The city asked him to install a few things which are specific only to city of Palo Alto and he was quick and efficient. Plus he is a pleasure to speak to and get to know as a fellow human being.
I had two jobs one installing a new panel and two installing new circuits in the kitchen. He did both jobs with excellent planning and execution. This review is actually two reviews for the two jobs!

Chris is a great electrician. He came by my house for a free estimate when we wanted to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet. He looked around my house and gave me a digital estimate. It took me a long time to decide to go with him because he had 1 review when I found him (since he just started his own business), but I'm so happy I gave him the chance.

When he came around to do work, he was a little late due to another job he was doing. This didn't mean that his work was bad though, he was so clean and thorough with everything he did. Everything is wrapped up safely. We requested to get a permit and got some scheduling issues but he worked closely with me to get another one scheduled. The inspection passed without any issues!

I will use Chris for all my other needs. I already recommended him to my friends because I think he does great work for a reasonable price.

Aug-08-2019, Christopher from Birghtbar Electric visits our home to do an evaluation for installing a Tesla wall charger. Christopher gave us a quote and we made an appointment for Aug-22-2019. Today is August 22 and I send a text to remind Christopher of our appointment and I got a message stating that somehow they didn't have me in their system and they can't make it. Totally unprofessional.

This is such a great company! Christopher (who's the owner) is such a sweet and down to earth man. When he came to our house to give us an estimate, he was very polite and went over everything. Very knowledgeable and explained everything in simple terms. He fixed our electrical problem within 2-3 hours. Definitely go with him.
