They did work at our church, and we paid them in FULL ...He promised to come back and finish downstairs!!! We've called several times to get him to finish! No response at ALL, We've talked recently, a no show! Don't take the job if you can't finish! Especially when you do the church wrong!!! You will definitely reap what you sow!!!

If you are looking for an electrician, look no further.
My wife and I bought a house built in 1969 and the electric panel has not been updated. Seriously we only had 100 amps and were not supposed to use any appliances. That's unacceptable.
I asked a bigger electric company for an estimate and was given a higher and lower quote for the necessary vs needed changes. Bright Idea almost literally charged half of what they would for twice the number of line items! In fact, I didn't even think to add outlets to the exterior of the house. Now I don't have to run an extension cord though a window to do yard work.
Jamaal and his team are absolute professionals. They show up on time (rare in Atlanta), are faithfully responsive to text or calls, they clean up after themselves, and are extremely knowledgeable. We love our new home and have found the electrician for all future projects and repairs. Thank you Jamaal and Bright Idea.

Used Bright Idea Atlanta today and was totally satisfied. Showed up on time, was very courteous and satisfactorily completed the job. Was half the price I received from another vendor. Good job.

WORK NOT COMPLETED AS AGREED TO AND PAID FOR!!! Based on findings noted in the inspection report for my recently purchased home, the business owner provided a quote of $800 and agreed to address its electrical issues. I also paid $100 for suggested electrical panel modifications as a temporary fix for what he said is a needed upgrade. Access to the full inspection report was also provided him during his service call. Then, last month, while moving household furnishings into the home, we discovered numerous electrical items noted in the report, primarily in the basement, that he did not correct (photos attached). Others include loose wall receptacles on the main floor. I contacted him 10 days ago, at which time he said he ""didn't see those"" and would come to correct sometime last week. (Maybe he ""didn't see"" them because he was on his phone much of the time.) I haven't heard from him since, not at least to schedule a return visit. The job should have been done right the first time! Touting having spent years working with the City, I didn't think to follow him around from item to item. Lesson: Someone having great experience doesn't necessarily mean they'll put it to work FOR you--but perhaps the contrary, underestimating your understanding. NOT! It comes down to a person's work ethic. The 1 star is for the things he did fix, though now I'm not sure how much I trust the work. I'll more carefully locate someone else to reassess what was done and to do the panel upgrade. Buyer beware!
