I wanted to be selfish and kept Brian a secret to only the ones that have already hired him before but my conscience won't allow me to do that..

Working with Brian was the ABSOLUTE BEST electrician experience I've had. You can BE SURE about 3 things:

1. He charges FAIR: In fact, less than he should. He will never rip you off. For the same work, he charged me half of what the other electrician I have used before.
2. He is very serious about the quality of his work: He put up a light fixture for me and addressed the smallest details and all of my petty concerns.
3. He is courteous and professional: he is someone you truly welcome to let in your home. It's like you have a cool friend who happens to know how to fix your electrical problems for a friend special price.

Just incredibly easy and pleasant to work with. Brian is someone I'll hire for the years to come. I definitely recommend Brian Jones for your next electrical problem.

I am so glad that I read Yelp reviews! My standing floor lamp needed a new mechanism for the dimmer switch. I called Brian, he arrived the next day, and when we unpacked the switch, I realized the lamp company had sent the wrong one. Brian said, ""Hey no problem, let me know when the new one arrives."" He didn't charge me for his time and wouldn't take money for showing up. In ordered the new switch and scheduled a new appointment. In the meantime I created a list of ""handyman"" tasks around my apartment that I didn't want to deal with.

Brian showed up today to fix the lamp, made a materials list for the other stuff I wanted fixed, and told me that I can pay for the lamp and the additional work when he returns.

I'm blown away by his honesty, ethics, and integrity. Truly and really, Brian is a treasure.

Brian is the best. He is very professional, honest and very patient. Brian arrived at our place on Saturday to install a new fan and little did we realize the rod was way short for our unit. Instead of giving up right on the spot, Brian kindly offered to go get the part for us. We ended up rescheduling bc we had to leave the house by a certain time to make a previous engagement. He came back within a week and completed the job without any delay. Another thing we like about him which has nothing to do with his work is how devoted he is to his family. That goes to his character. :)

Where do I began? Brian came out to my home to replace some electrical switches and outlets in house. Out with the old ivory look from the 70s and 80s and in with the white Decora switches. I was hesitant in doing the work myself because the switches were digital, motion detectors, and on an older house the electrical doesn't have a green grounding wires. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work. Brian accessed the situation and quickly went to work. He is very laid back with no sales pressure. In fact, he asked me to go get additional estimates for the work to be done. This in itself speaks volumes. I am all for supporting our local small companies. Thanks for all the good work Brian !!!!

You don't have to worry about being ""ripped off"" or ever paying for unnecessary services or parts. He quickly diagnoses your problem; finds the most cost effective solution and provides you repair options. Then he quickly and capably solves the problem.
When an electrical box mysteriously failed, Brian arrived and expertly determined the possible cause(s), checked all breakers in the main and sub-panels, tested various line circuits, and determined the cause. Replaced a breaker, repurposed a circuit and problem solved. Also identified other electrical deficiencies and provided expert solutions on how I could self-repair the issues, no pressure to sell himself, just experienced professional advice.

Brian just helped us with a dryer issue. I thought it was the cord, it was actually the outlet. He came by on an Sunday, fixed the outlet, provided me with a lot of useful information to avoid risk of fire, was very friendly, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Brian replaced a ceiling light/fan for our bathroom. Required a combination of electrical work, attic work, cutting drywall, and mechanical skills. Did a very nice job in a couple of hours for a very reasonable price. Will certainly use him again.
