I needed a chandelier type fixture installed just before Christmas (a very busy time for electricians apparently). I got three estimates, one was a guy who would have to add travel time from SF, the second was from Hein Lighting and Electric who was very close, but totally tried to rip me off because I'm a woman! I showed him the fixture and told him it required 16 light bulbs and he was like, ""Oh! 16 huh? Well...wow...16 lights..."" then told me he would e-mail me an estimate the next day. I asked for a ballpark estimate and he again said, ""Hmmm, 16 lights, gonna need two guys..."" then proceeded to give me a ""ballpark"" estimate that was double what the guy from San Francisco was going to charge me and 3 times what Brian charged me! Brian came in, looked at where the light was going, looked at the fixture and gave me an estimate right there and said he could squeeze me in next week because he knew I wanted it up before Christmas. He came with another guy and was in and out of there in about 40 minutes. I told him I was probably going to only use half the lights and he said not to do that, just use half the wattage because it would look tacky if half the lights weren't in place. It's really hard to see the actual lights,but he's probably right and I took his advice. The light looks and works just great! I would call him back for any electrical work I need in the future.

I found Brian on Yelp, and he lived up to the hype. My wife and I had Matt and Brian hang our TV in our living room. They pulled electric like 4 feet horizontally and then another 5 feet vertically ... without damaging the drywall. The TV looks phenomenal, all of the wiring is invisible, and we didn't have to hire someone to patch/texture/paint.

Bottom line: they showed up when they said they'd show up. They charged what they said they'd charge. They did what they said they'd do. The work was high-quality. What's not to love about that?

Brian is an awesome guy. I had him come over and fix a botched 3-way Insteon switch that I attempted to do. We both had a good laugh on how close I came to electricuting myself. He charged a fair rate and got the job done fast and well. I will definitely be calling him again in the future!

I checked out Yelp for a local electrician to do a quick wiring and installation of an outlet job in my newly remodeled and almost compete garage.

Being as I was 95% done with the garage and only had a day left before I had to go back to work, I asked the electricians I called if they could come out and do it the same day. Brian was the only one who said he would.

I asked when we could do it and he said he'd be by to check it out in an hour or so and that, as soon as his guys completed the job they were working on, he'd do my work which should be about 4 or 5PM. It was 11AM when I spoke to him.

At about 12:15 he shows up, checks out my job, gives me a base rate one hour minimum call quote, I agree, and he leaves.

At 4PM Brian calls and says he's on his way. By 5PM he has completed the job, cleaned-up the area where had worked and was on his way.

All-in-all, a first rate job performance delivered in a timely (exceedingly so!) manner at a fair electrician's price.

I can solidly and heartily recommend BR Electric for your household electrical needs.

Fast, fair, competent, clean and courteous. In today's world of 'not enough time' and questionable quality, what else can you as for, right?

BR Electric was great. We have used BR Electric for electrical work on our business office and our home. In both cases, Brian showed up on time to give us estimates and completed the work promptly. His prices were reasonable and fair compared to electricians we used prior to finding Brian. We have had no electrical problems since. We highly recommend this company.

My fountain in my backyard stopped working and I noticed that the green light on the GFI was not on and a reset wasn't working. Also, the arbor lights were on a dusk/dawn sensor and I wanted to change it to just a simple switch. I read the reviews and decided to call BR electric. I called Friday the 2nd of September and Brian said that he would come on Tuesday 6th of September between 7am and 8am and to txt him my address. I texted him my address and Tuesday morning he sent me a txt confirming my appointment and he showed up on time, provided an estimate,I agreed to the estimate, he said he'd be back with the right parts and later in the day he fixed the two issues.

Brian was on time, a pleasant person and his work is good. I'm actually surprised at the negative feedback, but they all seem to be related around scheduling. I'm very pleased and based on my experience, I highly recommend BR Electric.

After the Yelp reviews, I called Brian on a Sunday and left a message, letting him know it wasn't an urgent thing, that I needed an estimate and he could call me on Monday.
A few hours later, I get a call from him saying he's at church, and to text him my address and he will try to get to me on Monday.
Monday I text him my address and from his number I get back 3 texts of pictures with 2 ladies standing beside each other(???!!!)
So, I called and left another message, that I hope he got my address, was he still coming and why did I get pictures from his phone, and 3 of them at that.
When he called me back, he sounded a bit frazzled, and said he would be out later in the afternoon. And he never showed up.
I think all the good reviews have made him a busy, and confused person.
