5 stars for my experience with Sal and Boyes Electric. Sal came out to assess my electrical job the same day. He was super on point with all the details pertaining to the job. Before he left, he provided me with a rough estimate of what the job would cost. I received the detailed full quote later that same day and they were available to do the work a few days later.

Ramon and team were outstanding and safe as they wore masks throughout the entire process.

Ramon is easy to communicate with and gave me great electrical advice as I changed my mind half way through the project regarding the recessed lighting in my ceiling. He showed me pictures of the lights that he suggested and now I have 4 smooth and modern looking recessed ceiling lights that look a lot better than I had originally planned.

Ramon was also very informative and clear on the order of events that would take place, meaning when we should paint, schedule inspection etc to work around our required electrical phases. He also did some digging work himself to make sure my conduit was buried correctly after my concrete guy left.

The other thing that made Ramon great is that he was able to respond quickly to my text and phone calls. My other contactors weren't easy to schedule in work as well as Ramon is able to. Ramon was even able to come out to finish our project on Valentine's day, this is an example of how he puts the customer first.

I have an apartment that was built in 1960. One outlet started sparking and the fire dept cut outlet and tapped up. Sal come out to fix the outlet and told me that loose outlets can cause a fire so I had him quote total replacement of three units. The quote was fair and I went ahead to replace all outlets. The technicians was on time and professional. They spent 3 days replacing all the outlets. Great team. I will use them again.

The management and crews at Boyes Electric were OUTSTANDING. We had a complete re-wiring and installation of a new sub panel for our 90+ year old house. Our old system was a mix of outdated wiring and knob and tube. The Boyes Electric team were always on time, gave us a detailed itemized list of our services, made great recommendations for added features like closet lighting, ran a clean jobsite , were COVID-safe and ALWAYS courteous! Their estimate was very reasonable and they met their schedule. On top of all that, the work was MINIMALLY INVASIVE, and they successfully saw us through the permit process. We HIGHLY recommend Boyes - they are the best!

Quick reply to first outreach downhill from there. First the range they gave for my job $350-1250, ended up being estimate for upto $1400. Second they asked for photos ( better than visit during covid right?) and promised a quote . Advisor tried to get $125 from me to complete the estimate based on photos he wasn't convinced my requested outlet was possible . Extortion!!! Finally and worst of all cause well you can't fault a company for trying to keep money coming in during these trying times by hook or crook, he deliberately lied in his email to me over code vs permit process ( either that or this company does not take out permits much) either way if you are still reading this and you haven't clicked out and gone to next company I am afraid I can't help you because you are the type of person who accepts everything a contractor tells you without researching their words. This company is perfect for you then.

Before contacting Boyes Electric the process of finding an electrician had been frustrating as our project was overbid by one company and our request for information ignored by others. Our experience with Sal and the team at Boyes Electric was professional and pleasant from start to finish. Sal took extra time to make sure we understood what would be involved in all aspects of the project. We were frequently kept updated on the progress of the project and the inspection process. I just wanted to give a shout out to Boyes Electric even though I didn't use their services. I had an after hours electrical emergency, and another company referred me to Boyes when they were unable to help me. I spoke with Sal, and even though they were booked up through the week, he talked me through the problem and suggested what to do until I could get an electrician to come out. That night I was upset and worried about this electrical problem, and Sal took the time to help me come to a temporary solution. I appreciate such professional and kindness.

Outstanding company. We hired Boyes to upgrade our main panel to 200A and install a new circuit to our kitchen. They responded quickly and provided a fair quote, which was accepted after getting quotes from several other companies. Borin, Sal, and Jose all worked on our project at various times, and they were friendly and professional from start to finish. We had some issues trying to track down PG&E and our solar company to connect the new panel to the existing electrical system but Boyes kept us updated along the way.

The final product was done neatly, cleanly, and professionally. Boyes removed old pipes and wires and the quality of the install was outstanding. They are our new go-to electricians and we cannot recommend them more highly.
