Boyer Electric replaced an electrical outlet cost $9.91 and maybe spent a total of 30 minutes gathering info on some work I would like done. Charged me $274.90. They say time spent at my place was a total of 1 1/2 hours. Not so.

Margarito and his associate went above and beyond in resolving the electrical wiring issues we'd been experiencing in our new place. So mistreated and lied to by Boyer Electric for several months.
We phoned and asked them to send out the best guy to fix our stove top. It was not getting power to it any more.
Joel promised he would send out his top guy (steve?) since we had 3 other electricians who could not fix the stove top power.
So he sent out the guys and I said are you so and so and he said no you got stuck with us he sent the experienced guy to another job.
So they were nice but could not fix the stovetop electricy.
Next day they sent out a couple other guys promising to send out the best guy again, forgot his name but Joel knows and they did not.
So 9 hours of made up labor and some new light bulbs and they send us a bill for 2,490 and 300.00 and miscounted the number of lightbulbs and charged us for way to much labor and said they fixed the stove top! Big lie stove top still had no electricity and they knew it and said they could not fix it.
So our handy man is at the house and he and my husband find the fuse and its a burnt out fuse! 5$ fix!!!
So more bill keep coming out to us and phone calls to Joel and nothing done and refusing to reduce the price and change the bill after promising several times. So today we phone Joel and he gets mad and hangs up the phone after we try to tell them to fix the bill because it was outlandish and we kept getting late bills and they never even fixed our doorbell or stovetop.
Horrible liars and Joel is manager and hangs up the phone saying ""I don't have time for your stuff'!!!!

This company really has their act together. First of all someone actually answered the phone when I called. They were able to fit me in the week I called and the service guy David is still here. He's so polite and doing such a great job I had to write a review. Joel scheduled and followed up with me. Everyone is so professional, smart and polite. Our Old contractor stuck a regular outlet next to a drawer in the island but David was able to modify the GFCI box to fit so the drawer could slide shut inside! Thank you!!!

Boyer Electric, with Tom at the helm are really so terrific. All the positives you could say about a business: prompt, competitively priced, courteous & knowledgeable employees and of course most importantly quality work are all cornerstones of their service.

Recently, Boyer Electric did a substantial amount of projects to our 50's house. They upgraded our garage outlets so my husband's power tools could operate without tripping the circuit breaker; they added Internet cables to the garage so he would have technology w/no wi-fi interruption; added two additional canned lights in the kitchen to match the ones installed by previous owner, upgraded our electrical panel for central A/C & added home exterior electrical via a plug and light switch for landscape lighting and exterior stringed/bistro illumination.

Again, everything was done not just to our satisfaction, but above & beyond what anyone could expect - we will always hire them for electrical work, big & small.

Boyer Electric has been my #1 choice for all electrical needs for the past 10 years. Tom Boyer and his team are unmatched. Highly knowledgeable and experienced staff. They are quick and professional with competitive pricing. I've had multiple electrical issues over the years having owned a restaurant for 14 years. I really like their immediate call back regarding a problem and sincere concern for whatever issues I may be experiencing. Customer service always is a top priority too. It's been very nice to work with Tom and his crew. Excellent all around!

I've been in the middle of the remodel from hell for the past 6 months and Tom has really been there to help me. The original Contractor was a horror, overcharging me and then not paying all the subcontractors, including Boyer, We had a bit of a struggle trying to straighten up the mess but in the end Tom worked with me fairly and his electrician Johnny did a good job.

They're coming to finish the job in a couple of weeks and I really appreciate the fact that he didn't leave me stranded, charged me fairly and finished the job - it is refreshing in a sea of unreliable and dishonest contractors who don't follow through on what they tell you.

If it weren't for Boyer Electric and a select few other honest contractors who have cleaned up and finished the mess I was left with by the first guys, I don't think I would have survived this remodel.

Boyer basically blew me off for a week. They missed appointments, they never called back, the electrician assigned to me that did come out once was very nice, but then he was gone. When I called he was in meetings, at a job site. I would never never use them as they are unreliable, unapologetic and I do not know who James E is the other reviewer but I assume he works there. Stay away from Boyer Electic
