I hired Bowerman Electric for a whole home remodel project - new panel, 100A to 200A, car chargers, new wiring throughout, recessed lighting, vent fans, attic lights, adding doorbell, and all new trim out. Steve and crew worked well with all other tradesman, made multiple excellent suggestions (love my low voltage landscaping lights), and were very flexible with scheduling. His crew were always prompt, friendly and professional. Steve meant it when he, ""we'll work with you get everything copacetic."" All his work was in excellent order.

Took a bit to get him to give us an estimate and my husband was very enthusiastic about the projected work to install some lights in our garage when he met with us on Thursday or Friday afternoon. The instructions that were given to me were that he would be back on Monday or Tuesday to do the job.

So I cleared my schedule and waited around on Monday. No word. Okay, it is Tuesday then, I assumed. But nothing. I called him Tuesday around noon to find out what was going on, but got voicemail. I called again Tuesday evening, pretty perturbed to have wasted two days waiting for him to show up, but still got voicemail.

On Wednesday morning, I called the next guy on the Yelp list, Dave with WireWorks, who quoted the job considerably less than Bowerman. By the time Bowerman returned my call - Wednesday evening - all I heard was excuses; ""I'm having scheduling and phone issues."" Obviously.

I advised him that someone else was hired for the job, but - seriously - if you make a commitment for a day and are having phone issues, how hard is it (with our coast side as small as it is), to at least stop by and explain or apologize and reschedule?

BTW, WireWorks did the job promptly and, as I said, much cheaper.

I had Steve Bowerman come out to the house and assess my home electrical service box. The house is about 35 years old. He replaced my main box with a new service box that upgraded my electrical from 100 to 125 (can't remember what that represents) and added some future options. He changed out the entire incoming pipe from the roof and all wiring. Later, we found out that the ground needed to be upgraded. He did all that work without changing his quote. He did an awesome job and I am so grateful. His quote was the best and he stuck to it when the ground work came up. I recommend Steve for your any electrical needs you many have.
