We needed an electrician and called Bowen Electric. Our electrician Jonathan and his associate were prompt efficient respectful and did an excellent job. Jonathan had to search to find the right part and did so without being asked. His associate stayed behind and worked the entire time Jonathan was gone to get supplies. I will call them again for help and I would highly recommend them. Great job guys!

I'm new to Waco and chose Bowen Electric based on good reviews. I need to set the record straight on this company. I called them for a simple outlet not working. I have a home warranty that I was planning to submit this to but I needed the technician to merely talk to the home warranty rep on the phone with his diagnosis. Jonathan, the technician, was great but he had been told he could never speak to a home warranty rep. I called the office and Julie, manager of some kind, proceeded to imply I had been deceitful by not telling them I had a home warranty. She was incredibly rude and basically told me to stop talking. When I told her how rude her comments were, she pushed the blame on me. Even when she called me back to CYA, she basically continued to tell me how her rudeness was my fault. I think this may be a family company that has been in Waco forever and has forgotten how to appreciate its customers. I beg you to support a business other than this one. Bowen Electric doesn't deserve it!!

Set an appt 12 days out, called early and even moved up appt, explained someone will be at the house waiting. This is more than a confirmation. Received A voicemail from an electrician telling me that he's on his way to my house and needs to speak with me before he arrives. Now I work in a hospital two hours away in a small country town with no cell reception. My mother has been waiting at the house the entire time has been texting me wanting to know where the electrician is at. I even called Bowen electric To speak with someone at the company trying to find out where the electrician wise and they couldn't even get a hold of them. Then it was explained to me that the electricians left me a detailed message explaining why he had to move onto the next job. A seven second message is not a detailed message. I have been waiting for 12 days to get some things connected in my new house and I expected someone to show up knock on the door and follow through with the appointment. There was no set schedule time and there is no mention of needing a confirmation on the day of service. When I voice my concerns and explained it I was truly upset that my scheduled appt had been canceled, The lady who I spoke with automatically put the blame on me telling me that I should've answered my phone call and that is their policy, which further infuriated me. If you want to have a confirmation on the day of service you give me a timeframe of when that electrician was going to be there. They couldn't even do that. It was a ""open"" appt and they want me to be at their beck and call 30 minutes throughout the entire day. They should have mentioned that when I set up the appointment. The young lady did find an electrician to come out to my house and he did some work for me, which I was satisfied with. And I even told him that I was gonna be off a few days later for a few days and I would like to see him again at the house and he said that he would have time on Thursday. So today is Thursday and I'm expecting him to give me a call and sure enough my phone rings and it's Bowen electric which made me excited. But the thing that I wasn't excited about was Lori the lady who originally set up my appointment. She goes on to tell me that the electrician The electrician would not be there because of the way I spoke with the young lady several days ago on the phone and they don't except someone treating their employees like that. Are you effing kidding me? She calls me the day of the appointment time for another service call and this is how they run their business? I am from Waco and I have never seen a company that is so emotionally affected by business and a company's business practices. I will never use this company again, if they want their secretary to run their business and take up for an electrician's horrible communication then let the secretary run their business I don't have time for that I've got stuff I've got to get done and I have no problem paying for professionalism so I will not be paying this company any longer.
