Stay away from this company, but if you do decide to use them make sure the contract has a completion date!!! They cant get permits, dont return calls and will string you along for months past their expected completion date, read all the reviews. 6 months later with no permit yet they want to charge you 10% non refundable deposit. Need to file complaint with FL Attorney General or the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) https://www2.myfloridalicense.com/

One star since no stars is not an option. I signed a contract May 30, 2024 for the installation of a whole home generator, ATS and LP Gas tank. I was told that the completion timeline was 8 to 12 weeks. I paid a 10% deposit of $2,437. At the time Bo's had only 5 star positive reviews, now they are getting 1 star reviews. 24 weeks later on 11/11, I called to cancel the contract and request a refund. They have not completed the contract in a timely manner, and I have lost confidence that they will complete correctly or provide ongoing quality service in a timely manner. I have filed a BBB complaint. I have had to initiate contact to get information since signing the contract. Their communications are non-existent. Run...do not hire this business.

Bo's Electric customer service is top notch!! We have been so pleased with the whole home generator that was installed just over a year ago. Our generator had a side panel that had rusted and this was not a warranty issue. We opted to not replace it since it didn't affect the generator itself and was purely cosmetic. Imagine our surprise that Bo's Electric came out and replaced the panel anyway. The technician Brandon Jones and his assistant were so professional and kind. I could not ask for a better company to do business with. We felt like family. Thank you Bo's Electric, I will ding your praises every chance I have.

I signed a contract with Bo's electric and provided them with a deposit in the amount of two thousand dollars. Since that time I have received nothing! No permit, no call back and no explanation. In my book this is fraud and should be treated as such. I see that other people are in the same boat, I would sugest contacting an attorney!

My electrical permit was rejected 4 times now since January! No permit or generator in 10 months although promised by hurricane season. Total incompetence! Buyer beware!

Bought a new whole house generator from them and they hooked it up to all important appliances in the house. First hurricane comes (Ian) and it all works perfectly. Second hurricane comes (Milton) and only about 1/3 of the appliances are working. I call Bo's and ask them to see what's wrong. They do a complete shakedown and tell me that either I can wait until October 21 (10 days away and by that time power will likely have been turned back on!) to have them come take a look at it and see what's wrong....OR.... I can pay $1000 to join their new and improved Omni membership monitoring service and if I do that then they can come and fix this problem immediately! Said membership is for one year. (I am moving in a month.) Wow. $21,000 for a generator that worked ONE time. This is ridiculous and a money grab during an emergency weather situation. Gross. And all they do is advertise that they're ""military owned"" all over the place, like that makes up for the gouging shakedown. Shameful and disgusting.

Absolutely dreadful customer service. Signed a contract for a generator 6/20 and still no generator! It's now 9/26 and they haven't even managed to get the project through permitting yet. Forget about call backs or follow ups. Very dissappointed as the salesperson ""sold"" us on Bo's Electric Customer Service. Find another company if you want to get a generator.

WERE are YOU....called numerous times , spoke with the salesman who said he would have someone higher UP to get back to us. Started calling on 8/19 it is now 8/ 25 no calls. We are in a service business and it's part of a business to acknowledge YOUR customers. You have our deposit , we have questions, problems and nobody has the courtesy to call back and we don't even have the generator as of yet. This is a horrible sign of things to come.
