Bolt installed a controller for my outdoor lighting less than 3 years ago The box they installed was not meant for outdoor use. The whole thing rotted away so I had to replace it. They should know better. The photos below tell the story. I do not recommend them.

I contracted with them to do some work for me and paid 50% down. The work was scheduled for last Thursday, but rescheduled due to rain. Was scheduled for this Thursday them changed to tomorrow. Now they want to reschedule for next Thursday. I think they should meet prior commitments before taking on new work. I'm not at all happy.

This is Mae Lee. Beware of Bolt. Bolt Electrical is a cruel, cut-throat company. Electrical work was never completed. Paid a lot. Left me with headaches, loose ends. Internet service was disconnected after work was done. Major hassle!!! Forget about contacting the owner (he ignored me). Took my hard-earned money and left!!!!!

Want to pay way more? This is your electrician. They provided quick home estimate and was very commutative, and arrived right on time. However, their quote was over 170% more than 3 other electricians. Additionally, the permit fee they quoted was double what the county charges. Unless they're using silver or gold conductor its certainly not worth the hiked up price. Now, pair that with their already tarnished reputation of swindling customers based on other reviews I certainly will not allow them to work on my property and be sure to tell everyone to avoid this company.

Excellent service provided for getting wired camera doorbell working. Joel was very responsive and took care of all my needs quickly and efficiently. Company came out in a timely fashion to start work and completed project quickly. Now I do not have to change out my doorbell for hopefully another 15-20 years. Other electrical companies only gave me option for a wireless doorbell so I was happy I chose the right company! Value and professionalism top tier.

Id give zero stars if I could. They tried to rip off my 90 year old mother. My sister who has power of attorney called them the next day, first thing in the morning to cancel the contract. They still took $3000 deom her. SHAME ON YOU BOLT! Find someone else to use because they can't be trusted and their prices are sky high!

Called them after hurricane Ian to do repairs on electrical wiring at my home. Quoted over $3800.00. Actually got it done for $1300.00. Price gouging after the hurricane. Taking advantage of people in a terrible situation. Not an ethical company. They are local too. ?
